Work great and the magnet means they are always in reach!
These are great! I just restarted my sourdough journey after getting frustrated and stopping. Yesterday I made a loaf and because these have a magnet; I had one easily within reach on the fridge! The blade was plenty sharp and after puncturing the initial "skin" layer, it sliced right through the dough. I attempted to make a heart and it was... rough looking but honestly that's more lack of user skill level than anything. Prior to having these, I was using a blade that is on a long wooden handle thing and it worked great too but you had to bend the blade to get it on and I was always afraid it was going to snap and cut me but with these, that is no longer a worry! Additionally, when you push it all the way up you can lock the blade in place so you don't have to keep holding the "button". Would highly recommend!

Cute little low cost bread scoring tools. It's fun that they're magnetic although I'm not going to store them out in the open stuck to the fridge. The spring button to push the blade out does not lock in place with it out. (I took a star off for lacking that feature.) So you can't accidentally leave it on the counter open I guess. Also, I'm sure that helps keep the manufacturing price and thus the sale price lower. They're a comfortable size and shape for being able to hold onto and hold the button in place to keep the blade out. It's not overtly awkward once I got used to keeping my thumb pressing forward on the button.

Nice little dough slicer.
It's a nice little dough slicer. Really can't complain. The blades are really sharp and thin. Pretty standard issue blades for dough scoring. I do like that this style lame keeps the blade flat and not arched. The magnet is stronger than I was expecting which is really nice. Opens very easily to change blades. Love the spare blades that come with it, but not sure why I would want a 3 pack of lames.

They are made to automatically pull the blade back in to the protective housing and that makes me not have to double-check if I covered or put my lame in a good place to not lose a digit.I love love the colors. The magnetic backing sticks to my coffee maker and my espresso machine, keeping them out of the way, but handy to where I do most of my baking.They are definitely sharp. If you have any issues cutting, give your dough a little dust of flour and you'll be good to go. It's generally the stickiness of the dough that causes issues, and not the blade.They came with blade refills, so I won't have to worry about finding and ordering more for some time.These are must-haves if you are a sourdough or traditional bread baker!!

Sharp and easy to use
This review is for the DRAXZOR 3-Pack Bread Lame kit. I bake my own sourdough bread about every other week and have always used a lame with a long handle.
