Multiple uses in the kitchen, a handy gadget.
These were put to use within an hour of arrival. My wife was making a rice dish for dinner and usually tries to do the balancing act with the lid over "just enough" to let enough steam out. But one of these was perfect for the large dish. She shouted from the kitchen "I'm already using one!". It worked perfectly for her needs, and kept the lid steady throughout the cook time. I like that it's not a single use tool, although we did buy it for propping the utensil on the handle, the design is pretty versitile. Three of these for the price is a good value because they will cover every conceivable need. The silicone is, of course, heat resistance and will clean up easily and should last for years given the low stress they'll be under. They feel tough yet are flexible enough to conform to a variety of pans.

Not very useful for spoons, but makes a great towel holder
Alxjejo 3 Pack Silicone Pot Clip Utensil Rest, Deer Antler Spoon Holder for Pot Handles, Boil Over Guard & Lid Lifter, Heat Resistant Spoon Rest for Kitchen, Fits Handles 0.5" or Thicker (beige -3PCS)These are supposed to be used on a pot handle as a way to hold a spoon over the pan, but there’s only one or two pans in our kitchen that they grip onto in any way that they’ll stay put. We’ve got a lot of All-Clad, some Revere Ware, and a few other random pans. The pot in the product photo has a large, round, wooden handle, so maybe it’ll work in that case. For the pans it does fit on, it’s still a precarious balancing act to keep the utensil from falling off or back into the pot since these only grip onto rounded pot handles, which doesn’t make a flat surface for the back of the utensil handle to rest on.As for the build, these seem reasonably sturdy, they’re about 1/2” thick silicone that’s a little grippy. I’d be careful about pinching the spoon holder part too much as that is likely to weaken the flex point. There’s not much more to them than that, so as long as you don’t treat them like “clamps” they should hold up. Positioning them is also a question - too close to the pan and they might burn on a higher setting, too far away and there’s no leverage to hold the utensil. Why do these get a good rating from me? Because we’re using them for a totally different purpose and they’re pretty nice for that.We like to keep a towel on the handle of our oven, and often have a washcloth hanging there as well for quick grease wipe ups, but the stainless steel handle is slippery and with the slightest touch, the towel or washcloth end up on the floor. These are a perfect size to just push over the towel and around the handle. They’ve got enough grip to hold on when using the towel or opening the oven, but just pop off if we tug on the towel if we’re in a hurry.

Would be nice if it wasn't for the poor design.
You have to have a really fat candle on your pan for this to work. As you can see in the pictures that I provided it's really hard to use this with a more slender metal handle, which all of mine have, except a small one I purchased on sale to try out. The sad thing is, because of how flexible these are, they easily could have been designed to fit a variety of sizes.Another problem is where it holds the spoon. If you have a slender handle, or it's made of metal, it's not going to want to hold it. You need something either thick, or more grippy, like silicone, textured plastic, or perhaps would. As you can see in the pictures, for the spoon that I was using there, you need to get it just right. Most of my spoons have metal like this. Those that don't, are so thick that they wouldn't fit this easily. And they also have a little bumper on the back that allows me to set them on the stove without the spoon part touching the oven. So I really didn't have anything else to test it with. If you want to purchase this item, just take a really good look at your pans, as well as your mixing spoons. It may be that you should look for a different option. I guess I can use it to keep the lid elevated. But honestly, I've been cooking for so long that I really haven't had to do that in a long time. And frankly, just scooching it over a bit usually does the job, so this likely won't even see any use by me. But maybe I'll find some alternative use for it. I do love repurposing items, and using them in a way that they were intended.

Great if you have thick handled pots
These clips are pretty simple but awfully cute. The silicone is nicely formed and feels durable enough to last a while if they are not abused or exposed to direct high heat. I would not recommend these for a gas stove. I wish these came in a few more color options and more importantly were formed with a much tighter grip spread. I only have one pot that has a handle thick enough for these to hold on to securely.. For that specific pot, the clip works fine. I can appreciate the clip helping to keep my wooden spoon out of my stew. The majority of my pots n pans have handles that these clips just can’t hold on to. When trying these out the first time, I did also stumble onto that happy “Yahtzee” moment like another reviewer and tried the clip over the dish towels on the stove handle. Yep! These works great for keeping your towels from slipping off. This little extra use helps make these clips even more valuable for my kitchen.

Just one of those things!
This little pot clip is just one of those things you never knew you needed and once you get one, you wonder what took you so long. Heat resistant since they're silicone, this little doodad clips right onto the handle of your pot giving you the perfect, off the counter/stovetop place to rest your spoon which keeps the spoon handy and your workspace mess-free. The clip securely fits pot handles of different sizes and nicely holds your spoon, spatula, etc., where it's easily accessible but out of the way. The design is very simple, which is fine, and set is available in 3 different colors which would go with several different aesthetics. They clips are made of very durable, thick silicone and are a great value for the money at a little over $8 for a set of 3.
