Superior to plastic originals, fits Pyrex sculpted glass bowls perfectly, leakproof not stackable

I've owned silicone Pyrex lids before and find them to be a terrific replacement for the original plastic lids! I ordered the 1.3-Qt Lid + 2.3-Qt Lids. They fit my Pyrex sculpted glass mixing bowls perfectly. They form a watertight seal and remain leakproof even on their side. That said, any pressure in the middle of the lid will disrupt the seal so avoid stacking items on top of it. The only advantage of plastic lids is they handle stacking better. Otherwise, plastic lids get brittle over time and start to crack. Silicone holds up over time and handle the heat of a dishwasher better. They are a touch lighter in color than in the profile, and have an asterisk * shape on top. I didn't wait for my plastic lids to break; I replaced them up front.

Fit bowls as described in the product listing.

Fits perfectly on my old set of Pyrex mixing bowls. The lids are sturdy and easy to fit onto the bowls. Although I've just received them their construction appears to solid and I expect they will last a long time. Since they are silicone, I don't expect them to harden and get brittle like the original lids.

Nice lids

The silicone lids do not melt when spattered with hot fat and do not stain from tomato sauce or blueberries. They do not warp in the dishwasher and withstand higher temperatures than the original equipment plastic lids. Some can fit a little loosely but tighten when cooled. Nice coordinating colors.
