High quality stainless steel - durable thick lids (but hard to close) - leak proof
I really do like these stainless steel containers, though they aren't quite what I expected for my kids. I originally bought them for my teenager, but he has a hard time getting the lid to seal properly. Honestly, I struggled at first too; there is definitely a learning curve to them. The trick is to avoid pushing down on the center like you would with a plastic container. Instead, you have to place the lid on and start pressing at the sides right where the two compartments separate. From there, I find that sliding my thumbs along the seams toward the edges while carefully tucking it in is the only way to get a proper, leak-proof seal.The quality itself is great—it’s high-quality SUS304 stainless steel with no sharp edges, and it feels very heavy-duty. The silicone lids are also thick and durable. That said, I wouldn't suggest these for children to use on their own because the lids are just too difficult to close. I’ve actually started using them for my own snacks on the go instead.I did find a little hack for my toddler at home, though: I lay the silicone lid on the table and put the tray on top of it. It creates enough friction to keep the tray from sliding around while he eats, so it works perfectly as a stationary snack tray.

Stainless Steel Snack Containers - A tad too small In My opinion
OK so first the positive. These will certainly be leak proof. Once the silicon lids are on I don't see these coming off even if the kids jar and shake them or toss them around in a book bag or something. The silicone lids appear to be both soft, durable, and the color of the lids are really nice pastel shades. I love the way they look. They are also stackable which makes storing them easier.The bowls could be just a little bit deeper so that more food can actually be carried. My biggest gripe is that getting the lids on is no easy task. Unlike tupperware lids that quickly press on, these have to be pressed on the way you place an otter box cover onto a phone. Starting at one end and working your way around you have to press the lid onto, around, and back under sealing the lid to the container as you work your away around the perimeter.Because the size is a bit on the small size these might be good for packing fruit or snacks for small kids as part of their lunch. Or for family members traveling in a car with a third row seat. These would be easy to pass back and the secure lids are welcomes anywhere you don't want an accidental spill to occur. Use these as a supplement for a meal. These aren't large enough for the whole lunch to be placed into them.Another use might be if you want to leave some small snack meals prepared for the kids while you are out and the babysitter is watching the kids. The babysitter only needed to hand these out to the kids makes it easy to be sure that the right proportions are handed out say for a before bedtime snack.If you have small kids you will find these more useful in more situations than if your kids are older like our are.The overall quality is very good and these should be very durable.

Stainless steel snack containers work well, seal well; separate sections are nice.
These EC-Gaze stainless steel and silicone snack containers are ideal for separating two food items. The top is made of silicone and not only seals the entire rim of the container, but also seals the two individual compartments from each other. This makes them ideal for such things as chips and dip, fries and catsup, veggies and cheese dip, etc.The silicone top is a little difficult to fit on the top of the steel container, but should become easier with continued use. It also seals the inside tops of the two compartments to prevent leakage. The metal is thin, but sufficient to resist dents or warping if handled normally/carefully. It is easy to hand wash and looks like new after use. They should quickly chill if placed in the refrigerator or portable cooler, too.They come in Muted Lilac, Blush Pink, and Dusty Rose as one set or Sage, Blue, and Gray as another set. The colors can help you keep contents identified so you don't have to open each one to determine what's inside. The dimensions are 7.7" long x 4.6" wide x 1.7" tall. The large compartment holds just under 8 oz of water; the small one holds about 3 oz. These make a very neat way to separate two different items and to chill them for use. Recommended!
