These stainless ice trays are well made and stack nicely on top of each other in the freezer. They are better quality than the ones I grew up using. I would like for them to have been deeper so the cubes would be bigger. I use distilled water to make ice, so I don't know if sediments accumulate on them, but the cubes have been easy to release. You need to let the trays sit for a couple of minutes before trying to release the ice cubes. While it is more trouble than using an automatic icemaker, it is so much healthier to have plastic and chemical-free ice! I look forward to getting more!

Great that they're stainless steel but hard to get the cubes out
I grew up with this type of ice tray but don't remember the ice being so hard to get out of the squares. It takes a bit of strength to pull the handle back and crack the cubes out. Most of them need to be knocked out with the butt end of a butterknife. I appreciate that they're stainless steel and don't leave microplastics in your ice but I think I'll find an alternative.

Sturdy old school ice cube trays. Most of you are not old enough to remember when these were standard fare, except they were aluminum back then. Love this new stainless steel version. Yes, it can be pricy, but they are sturdy and super cleanable if you want to freeze more than just water. It doesn't seem like they would, but they do stack. You will get some shards with the cubes when you crack. That's normal. So much better than the super cheap plastic trays.

They are a little hard to open - ice release Kinda stick to the ice separator - but love the size of the cubes and seem to use less ice. Hard to stack because the handle sticks up - so you need enough room to lay flat.

Overpriced
If you are looking for ice cube trays like in the 60's or 70's this is not the one. I think they were overpriced. I was trying to avoid plastic but I am not 100 percent satisfied. There are always a few cubes that are hard to remove. I'm being picky but these did not live up to my expectations.
