I love this knife set, sharp and comfortable

This set gives my most used blades in the kitchen except a cleaver. I did buy the vegetable cleaver separately and did a review on it as well.First, these blades are a great balance in thickness. They are heavy and rigid enough to cut well without feeling bendy when cutting harder foods, like cutting melons or hard vegetables/tubers. They are still thin enough that they don’t wedge in and glide smoothly through meat or soft vegetables.These knives came fairly sharp, not perfect but still functional. A few passes on the whetstones and they were hair shaving sharp. The blades are very easy to get sharp and with a few swipes on the steel every time I use them they hold an edge remarkably well.The grip is comfortable and the shape of the handle helps keep a good safe grip while using with wet hands. I particularly like the little downward hook at the bottom of the grip. It feels comfortable in my hand.For the price I found these knives to be a terrific value and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for some new kitchen knives.
