Handy and Useful Set of Pans for Many Needs
I wasn’t looking for something to be able to serve shrimp or other cold items for parties but when I saw this set of pans, I was intrigued by them. When they came, I was immediately pleased I had decided to get them. I like that the pans are well made and not too heavy. Although they technically aren’t intended to be cooked in, I can envision using them for some dishes I need to put in the oven for a short time. I like that the tops which are technically the “plates” to serve items on can also be used as covers for a period of time if necessary if using the pans for other items being served, such as a salad or a side dish.They are a good size for my needs to serve various items. I’ve used them once so far for serving some shrimp as a “first course” for a family party. I’ve included a picture of that. The shrimp were the large (16-20 per pound size) and there was room for more of them if I wanted. We only put a bit of ice underneath, but it wasn’t really needed this time. But that ability to serve something you want to stay colder will definitely be helpful in the summer when serving things outside. I was a bit concerned that the top wasn’t flat and had an “icon” embedded in the middle so a small dish in the middle might slide down. But it wasn’t a problem with the metal bowl included and I tried also with another small colorful dish I use for sauces, and it was fine.It was also handy to have two tongs. We didn’t use them for the shrimp as people just picked them up and dipped into the sauce. But the tongs are a bit large frankly. I will definitely be using them for other times when I need a “tong like” serving utensil but I’ve got another one that is a bit smaller that I’ll probably use with these pans if needed.I’m very glad I decided to order these pans and would recommend them for others with a variety of needs for serving and cooking for parties.

Versatile for more than just shrimp
This shrimp cocktail serving dish is such a great find! The built-in ice tray underneath is a game changer — it keeps everything perfectly chilled without watering down the food. Just when you think you don't need any more things for your kitchen...
The ice tray design is brilliant - it keeps whatever food you place on it perfectly chilled for hours.I've used it for a charcuterie as you can see from the photos. I basically took what I had on hand to see how long it would stay cold. I left it sitting on my gas stove rather than the countertop just to see how long it would take for all the ice to melt, and my cats don't jump on the stove.As you can see from the condensation left on the plate after removing some of the food, it lasts a long time. That photo was taken 2 hours after I assembled the food. I removed the rest of the food 4 hours later and it was still cold. I dumped out a lot of ice along with the water I had added to fill the bottom. It was bedtime and I wasn't about to leave food out all night, I have 2 very active nocturnal cats who can't be trusted with food left out. Ever.The 12-inch size is ideal - not too small, not too large. It holds a generous amount without taking up too much table space. The fact that it comes as a 2-set is fantastic value, especially when hosting larger gatherings or wanting to serve multiple items simultaneously. The handles make it super easy to carry.The quality exceeded my expectations. The material is sturdy and well-constructed, easy to clean, and stores nicely when not in use. The clear design looks elegant and lets the food be the star of the show.I presume that these could be used to keep hot hors-d'oeuvres hot too, all you'd need to do is fill the pan with hot water.I haven't used these trays multiple times but I expect they will hold up beautifully with no cracks, discoloration, or issues whatsoever. They are made of stainless steel and it's not the flimsy kind. These are solid.The included forks and tongs are basic and work well. They're also well made.Whether you're a frequent entertainer or just want to elevate your occasional dinner party, I highly recommend this serving dish set.
