The Kitchen Storage Solution You Didn't Know You Need.

What a great idea for organizing your vegetables and fruits! I'd give this more stars if I could.I live in an 120-year-old converted schoolhouse. The kitchen is tiny with very little cupboard space. I've added a stabd alone pantry cabinet, with doors but my main source of storage are 3 rows of shelves along one wall. These are open shelves and keeping them tidy and organized is a challenge I fail more times than not. I had a rattan basket to hold my bag of potatoes and a few loose onions but they would very often get buried under bags of chips and things and sometimes I wouldn't notice that the produce was getting past it's prime. Fruits like oranges, apples, and banana were kept on a kitchen counter in a big bowl, taking up precious counter space.When I came across this three-tier produce basket, I immediately knew it was exactly what I needed for storing potatoes, onions, and other produce in my kitchen. The stand fits perfectly on my shelving and stores produce vertically rather than horizontally, which saves a surprising amount of space.The design is reminiscent of old-time produce displays in grocery stores. Made of bamboo, it’s lightweight, attractive, and provides plenty of ventilation. The trays are graduated in size: the bottom tray is the largest and ideal for potatoes, the middle tray is medium-sized, and the top tray is the smallest. I keep oranges and apples on the top tier. The stand also includes two S-hooks, which are perfect for hanging bananas off the side—a genuinely clever touch.Assembly is fairly straightforward. It comes with all the necessary screws and even includes a screwdriver, though we chose to use a power driver. The fit and finish weren’t perfect on our unit. Some of the pilot holes were slightly misaligned, and a few of the bamboo pieces didn’t sit completely flush. Additionally, two of the small recessed bolts—the ones with star-shaped edges that grip the wood—were installed backward. We just had to be careful not to overtighten them so they wouldn’t pull out.Despite these minor issues, they weren’t deal breakers. For the price, this vegetable stand is a great value. It’s both attractive and highly functional, and it will get daily use in my kitchen.

Sturdy three-tier bamboo fruit and vegetable basket

Deluxe well-made three-tier bamboo fruit and vegetable basket. Easy and fun to assemble. Parts fit well and were forgiving to disassemble when I put a slot in backwards and had to turn it around. Holds all my fruits and vegetables. I think I’m going to keep it in the corner of my kitchen for my onions and potatoes, but would be attractive on a kitchen counter to in a different set up. Also has two S hooks which could be used to hang it on the wall. Small screwdriver needed for assembly included in the box.

Nice veggie holder

I really like this. I would give it five stars, but I thought it was much taller. My plan is to use it in the bottom of a pantry closet, to hold potatoes, onions, etc.. I wish it were taller, and the shelves were a little bit more spaced out. Took a little bit of time to get it together, not because it’s difficult, but it is time consuming. It’s a nice material, bamboo. Beware, The item took almost 2 months to arrive.

Works great to corral my produce

We go through a lot of produce in our house, but we have a very small kitchen with no actual pantry and very little counter space, so storing it becomes a big problem. I’ve been looking for a better solution than keeping the potatoes with the pots, shoving apples on top of canned goods, hanging onions in the window and keeping bananas on the stovetop. (Please don’t ask me how many bananas I’ve accidentally cooked this way.) This has been a great solution for us. The three tiers hold most of our fruits and vegetables that don’t go in the fridge and it takes up less space than when we had everything spread all over. It also makes it easy to see at a glance what we have so we’re not buying more at the store that we don’t really need. It’s sturdy and holds a good deal of weight. It was easy to put together and only took about five minutes to assemble. It’s also easy to wipe down or wash with the sprayer in the kitchen sink. This is a great solution if you’re low on space and need to consolidate your produce storage, or are just looking for a more organized system. I’d definitely recommend!

Maybe it would have been nice if the parts weren't defective.

I was so excited to get this 3-tier basket for my kitchen, but honestly, I couldn't even enjoy it. When I opened the box, the bottoms of the shelves had all come apart—the slats were unglued and there was no way to fix them without it looking messy. It's a shame, because the wood actually seemed pretty sturdy and I bet it would have looked great if everything was intact. But with the defective pieces, I just couldn't put it together. For me, it definitely wasn’t worth the price since I can’t even use it. If it arrived in good shape, I think it would be really nice, but this was such a letdown. Looks like quality control totally missed the mark this time!

It’s not stained or sealed and therefore food safe.Easy to assemble and came with everything needed to put together. It took me about 15 minutes ( and I’m blonde!).
