Well Made, Holding Up Well!

We cook quite a bit. We user the steamer for many things other than Asian food. Steaming potatoes for potato salad is quick and easy, cut them to the size you wish, and steam them. Quicker and easier than boiling the potatoes then trying to skin and cut them hot! After several months they are holding up well. We are happy with the purchase!

Work well but there are some construction issues with side pieces of the steaming bowls

Picked these up for steaming Bao buns and vegetables for Asian inspired cuisine. They work quite well and hold a lot of product. My only quibble with them is the side pieces, that go around the perimeter of the steaming bowls, are poorly made, some don’t quite meet at the seam, some overlap, it is a hodgepodge of poor construction. Other than that they seem to be decently made, I will update this review if there are issues with warping with long term use.Recommended with above reservations

old school here. Had to learn something new

I have to admit I accepted the classic bamboo steamers would fall apart eventually. But that's what I grew up with.Now some of them are so cheesy and overpriced, I was going to restaurant supply warehouses to restock.But I saw these and thought "why not"okay, no metallic taste.So far it's held up for 6 months and I'll just keep going.
