Beautiful and sturdy
This is a replacement order. The original arrived damaged. That being said, the replacement order was simple and quick. The replacement turntable arrived 1 day early and was undamaged. I think I originally received a return item by mistake as key styrofoam packing was missing from the 1st shipment. Replacement’s custom styrofoam packaging kept the item safe. Now for the turntable itself…It’s gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I bought the 36” size for my 60” round table. Perfect size for this table. The turntable is big enough to hold all of my serving dishes. The glass is thick and sturdy. The spin is nice and smooth. The beveled edge gives it a more expensive look. I included pictures so you can see the difference between beveled edge vs. round edge. I bought another glass lazy Susan a few months ago. Eventhough they both described the glass thickness is approx 1/3”, you can tell this one is thicker. I haven’t put anything really heavy or extremely hot on this yet. Who puts 400 pounds of food on the table anyway? This will definitely survive the weight of normal hot meals. I will continue to use my hot pads even if unnecessary, old habits die hard. I like both turntables, but this one I love. It’s both beautiful and sturdy.Also - My grandkids and I love using this to play Uno. They just spin so the deck is in front of them. We’ve also used it with my jigsaw puzzle board. No more reaching for cards or puzzle pieces.
