A convenient way to enjoy better tea
Serious tea snobs (I don't consider myself one, but I'm about halfway there) often turn up their nose at tea bags. There's not as much variety available, and the best brands of loose leaf tea don't usually offer their product in bags. The mass-market tea bags are usually filled with dust and tiny leaf bits left over from tea manufacturing, which are inferior quality and go stale quickly. So tea aficionados have a cabinet full of exquisite loose leaf tea, but making themselves a cup requires elaborate rituals involving small teapots and perforated baskets and sometimes infusers that fit in a cup but never seem to be large enough for the tea they hold. These little tea bags bridge the gap nicely between the convenience of tea bags and the quality of loose leaf tea. They aren't big enough for a whole pot of tea, but are considerably larger than standard teabags, and hold enough tea to infuse my favorite 20-ounce mug (yes, I may have a problem). I found it easy to fill the bag either by pouring tea from a pouch or the corner of a tea canister, or slipping it in with a teaspoon. The drawstring pulls tight enough that when the teabag gets wet and swells slightly, it seals off the opening and the tea leaves don't escape into the liquid. I steeped an empty bag to see if the material had any flavor of its own that would interfere with the flavor of the tea, but I didn't detect any.In theory, you could wash and re-use these. After making a fine cup of blueberry roobois, I loosened the drawstring, turned the teabag inside out, discarded the used leaves, rinsed the inside off, then turned it right side out and allowed it to dry. The material was a little fuzzy, but it was intact enough to brew at least one more cup. But really, at less than 3 cents per bag, only the most conscientious eco-warrior is probably going to do that. These bags are an economical and convenient way to expand your tea horizons without using any special equipment. I plan to fill several of them with some of my favorite teas and bring them to work for midday pick-me-ups. With 300 bags in a pack, I could make a cup every work day for a year and still have bags left over.

A must for loose tea lovers!
I love loose tea! But the mess it makes really irritates me. I hate cleaning out the tea diffuser balls because they can be so annoying to clean. I normally use a tea straw to drink my loose leaf tea, but sometimes the metal is a little too hot and I can easily burn my lips. I am so excited to finally try fillable tea bags! And with this pack of 300, I have LOTS for SO MUCH TEA! I am super impressed by the quality- I was expecting something thinner and more papery, and was unsure how they would hold up. But wow! These feel like a soft, luxurious fabric! I would nearly line a pillow with these tea bags. Ha! I did learn that using a tablespoon size is a bit too big to fill them. Better to use a half tablespoon or a tea spoon and put more scoops, because my tablespoon nearly didn’t fit so some of the loose leaf fell off and I made a small mess. But that’s ok, it was a learning curve! Once I got the bag filled appropriately, there are two strings which I pulled tightly and gave a nice square knot. I didn’t want to risk the tea floating out into my cup then I’m stuck using a tea straw anyway! The tea still steeped and infused nicely, so this bag is “airy” enough. It is sturdy enough that I was able to get at least two steeps out of the bag, too. I have to admit that I’m wondering why I haven’t tried these sooner! I’m so happy to have them for myself, and to be able to gift some of my favorite teas to friends pre portioned out or even to now travel with mu favorite teas without the added hassle of loose tea floating around!

Good For All Of Your Loose Teas, Herbs & Spices
Color: Non-Woven 300 PcsAs one who always has a pitcher of iced tea around, these little bags certainly come in handy. I love that I can control the strength of my loose teas with these, as well as blend multiple different types together. So easy and work really well. Hold up well too without falling apart on me if the pitcher is sitting around for a couple days. They can stand the hot water for brewing too. With that said, they are also quite good and safe to use for making bouquet garnis. Perfect when you want the taste of various herbs and spices in your cooked foods but don't want the bits and pieces laced between the foods you plan on eating. They are sturdy little bags that can be closed off by tightening the string. The materials are unbleached which makes them safer to use with foods. The bags are somewhat small, so for some dishes and beverages, you might need to prepare more than one bag. I do find that one bag is usually perfectly fine for a pitcher of iced tea. Can just as easily be used for just that one special cup of tea, or even coffee. Comes in handy for camping too when you need to limit what all you are bothering with. Yet, perfect for some rather fancy gourmet feasts. They come in a vacuum sealed clear plastic pouch. So once you open them, you might want to store them in an old tea canister for safe, clean storage.

Awesome little bags with many uses!
I never thought about disposable non-woven bags for tea. I just trudged along, using a metal teaball or clamp type, both of which leak flakes of tea out. They also have to be washed, involving scrubbing with a little brush. Yuk! I love loose teas, but steered away due to the hassles. These disposables really make a tea experience much easier to deal with, and they look nice too! These bags are easy to pack tea into without mess as well. They have a string tie at the top, which closes securely, with no tea leaves escaping! I do enjoy making tea with these, but also use these bags for herbs in stews and soups too with no problem during boiling! They are great for so many other items in addition to food and drinks. I have made little potpourri bags to hang or put in drawers, secured jewelry for travel, and even carry dog treats in during walks! I was hoping these were compostable, but I can't find information on this. They do offer an option made from corn, I just didn't see that when ordering, but I like these anyway, and use them daily!
