Makes a nice large cup of loose leaf tea. Love the infuser as it seems no leaf bits get through. Used to worry about breaking the glass as it seems thin, but I’ve had it for over 2 years now and use it every day! I do hand wash it. However, few days ago the metal infuser separated from the ring so I will try to find another infuser or just buy another glass tea mug set! 2 + years was excellent usage!

Beautiful, simple, easy to use
I planned to buy a loose herbal tea and searched Amazon for tea brewing items. There are many tall cylindrical ones, but a lot of reviewers said they had flaws, fell apart or were too hot to handle. Some of those are very expensive too. This product is perfect for one large cup of tea. It's very simple to use: put about a tablespoon of tea leaves into the metal unit that fits inside the cup, pour the hot water through, then put the lid on to keep it hot while you steep the tea. Unlike some tea infusers, the holes are very fine. The lid also keeps your tea hot after you take the metal unit out. The glass is thinner than ceramic mugs, so take care while washing. Metal unit is easy to clean; just dump out the used tea leaves and rinse with water. Tip: Depending on the type of tea you're using and how strong you like your tea, you may be able to get several uses out of one tablespoon of tea.

Perfect for Brewing Loose Tea
There are so many varieties of teas that are made of the blossoms, stems, and leaves of plants, and I am enjoying trying different blends, now that I have this lovely glass" Lady Mug". To me, part of the pleasure of the tea ritual is the shades of color that come from steeping the leaves, and the glass container works perfectly for that.I really like the stainless steel infuser that is custom-sized to fit the mug, as well as the glass lid with rounded edges, that fits the top of the mug, and also holds the strainer when you are finished steeping.The glass keeps the beverage piping hot, and is warm to the touch, except for the handle which stays cool.It holds a generous amount, and I have had to experiment with my loose tea to match the water volume and get the strength I like.It is a little fussy to clean the strainer completely if you have let the contents sit for a while. I have found that using a small cone-shaped brush gets the fine bits. Also because of the round lip on the glass cover, it is hard to find a position to set it to allow it to dry completely, so I take the extra step to run a soft cloth inside the rim.Overall, a quite lovely addition to my daily tea ritual.

I make awesome coffee with this glass mug and filter set. So simple to use. No plastic toxins in your coffee! No paper filters. Definitely not much clean up. Microwave the water in the mug for about 3 minutes (depends on your microwave oven), then insert the SS filter with coffee grounds, or a mix of coffee, chicory and spices. Carefully stir with a spoon, put the lid on and brew for 4 or 5 minutes. Stir and serve. Easy and delicious! I've tried all kinds of ways to make coffee. This is my favorite.

be careful with the steeping lid
Im very pleased with this mug and infuser. I prefer this thin borolite glass; so my comments are based on that personal preference. The handle fits various sizes of hands and is comfortable. I emphasize that I like everything about this set; however, be careful with the little glass lid used for steeping as it doesnt fit snugly on top of the mug and easily slips off if you lift the mug. Mine fell off and broke when it hit the floor the first time I used the set. My bad.I recommend this product.
