    Good for chestnuts

    This is made of a very lightweight aluminum, so I am unsure about its long-term durability. It does, however, do a pretty good job of cracking open chestnuts by making an "X" on the shell, which is perfect for roasting. There is also a micro tool that helps you pry chestnuts out of the shell, as well as a pastry tip for using on a tube of pureed chestnuts or marrons glacees.
