This is great for flipping items in my 9" omelette pan. Love the handle color. It seems well-made. Some reviewers mentioned in was flanged and sharp on the backside. It is flanged as shown in product photos, but it's not sharp at all.
I initially bought this spatula for use with my wok, but have since found it to be useful for so much more. It is lightweight and flexible, but this is the beauty of it. It won't work for moving or flipping heavy foods, but that isn't it's purpose. This spatula is 8" excluding the handle on the longest side and 3" wide at the end. I have included picture of me holding it to give the measurements some perspective. What I love about this spatula is:1) The end is extremely thin making it very easy to get under delicate foods like eggs and thin fish filets.2) It is flexible so getting under foods in a pan or casserole dish is much easier.3) It is stainless steel so it won't rust.4) The rubberized handle is easy to hold and not slippery when your hands are wet. I wouldn't recommend leaving the handles resting on a hot pan, but that is true for the handles of many utensils.4) The angle of the end makes it easy to get to the edges of pans and into the corners of casserole dishes.5) The slight bend in the spatula facilitates getting it under foods.5) The slotted design drains grease and other liquids.Although I originally bought this spatula for use in a wok, I can see so very many uses for it. I have both nylon and silicone spatulas I have used for turning eggs. Both are difficult to get under eggs because the eggs stick to them and the ends are too thick to get under the eggs. In addition, the ends of the nylon and silicone spatulas eventually degrade and start losing pieces into the food. The flexibility and thin edge makes this spatulas easy to turn eggs.I have also found the large size and thin, flexible edge makes it much easier to turn large, thin filets of fish, such as petrale sole. I have also found using this spatula easier to get foods, such as lasagna, out of a casserole dish. Another great use for this spatula is for turning sandwiches such as patty melts and ham and cheese sandwiches that need a large spatula to turn them without them falling apart. These are only a few of the uses I have found this spatulas work best. I am finding new uses for them almost every day.Needless to say, I do recommend this spatula. It has more than surpassed my expectations. I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update this review if my opinion of this spatula changes.
Works pretty good and was cost effective.
I gave this as a bridal shower gift to go with a cookie cookbook. I cannot rate it since I gave it as a gift. I was was pleased with it when I received it.
It’s got a good angle of the spatula With a nice handle. It’s thin enough to slide under items and strong enough to not be floppy. I like it and would recommend it to anyone
Just as pictures and described. Works well.
