These are really high-quality utensils that are absolutely worth the cost!
It's a weird truth that the older I get, the more i appreciate the things I used to consider boring or even unimportant. Kitchen utensils were just a necessary accessory that I would have spent as little as possible on, and certainly wouldn't have given much consideration to in terms of balance, durability, or overall quality. Yet having now had the opportunity to use these utensils it seems crazy to me that I would've wasted money on anything cheaper (both in price or quality) in the past! Honestly, if your household sees a fair amount of cooking then you owe it to yourself to consider these utensils with the (hopefully obvious) caveat being that these are not for use with cookware that has any sort of "coating" on it (e.g. Teflon or other non-stick surfaces that are bonded to the cookware). But if you use metal cookware (cast iron, stainless steel, copper, etc.) then these are outstanding and I promise you'll appreciate their usefulness over any cheap accessories you may have been using beforehand.First, the size is substantial, but they're not oversized. All the pieces, aside from the tongs, are nice and long. The tongs are perfectly sized for serving, though they may be a little short for things like flipping meats if you're over an extremely hot cooking surface. The tongs are not ideal for bacon or if you're frying stuff in a deep pan, though the "skimmer spoon" is really good for that since it can also help to keep your breading intact.Secondly, the weight and overall balance is just really nice. They're not heavy, but they feel so much more substantial than the cheap, lightweight utensils that you might pick up from your local "we-sell-everything" store. The size and shape of the handles feel good in the hand, which can be really important if you're making something that requires constant stirring so you don't get fatigued.Third, the clean look of them, and actually the very ease of cleaning them, is really nice. Unlike plastic utensils that eventually get dinged or frayed, these have nice, crisp, and uniform edges. And while they have a lightly brushed appearance (as opposed to like an extremely polished, chrome-like finish), they clean really easily with everything wiping right off. Plus, they're dishwasher safe so that's an absolute plus for time saving.Finally, the price. Now these were listed for $59.21 when I ordered them, and as I write this I see they have a coupon dropping the price down to a bit over $55. I'll fully acknowledge that at first glance that might seem like a lot to spend on spoons, spatulas, and tongs. But if you consider that you'd still probably spend around $20 for smaller set of much lower quality, you're actually getting a really sizable set of utensils here that are leaps and bounds above what you'd find at the "we-sell-everything" stores. We've been using them for going-on two months now, and they're holding up really well. I have no reason to think they'll fail or come apart anytime soon, so even with the $50+ pricetag, I feel these are a solid value because they're going to last a lot longer than a cheaper set, and the overall cooking experience is just going to be way better using these. Seriously, even if it's not this specific set, do yourself a favor and invest in good utensils as well as good cookware, and it'll truly improve your overall cooking experience!

Heavyweight / High quality
I was expecting this set to be good quality but lightweight to save manufacturing costs. Pleasantly surprised by the heavyweight and feel. It feels luxurious and better than my more expensive sets. Even if it gets scratched up, the scratches look natural and don't stick out.Very easy to use and clean by hand or in the dishwasher. You can be as rough as you want but the durability will not give up as it is high quality stainless steel. Some manufacturers save costs by making the utensils average sized but these utensils are full sized and perfect for using in large pots.No fancy packaging but you can see where they put the money. Would order again to gift!

Cooking utensils... very good utensils! I guess it's a sign of my age to get excited about utensils but these are worth the excitement. Until I got these, most of our stuff was random junk picked up on a whim. And usually plastic at that. The pieces in this set are very well made and I plan to use them pretty much forever. They have a good solid feel to them and wash very easily which I need as I don't have a dishwasher.They're bigger than your typical utensils, I have them hanging because our utensils drawer is very small. I also have to keep utensils for nonstick cookware use and decided hanging this set would look nice as well as being highly functional. It sounds weird maybe, but I tend to choose which pot/pan to use because I can use nice utensils now so I'm hoping to upgrade my pots and pans soon and ditch all the nonstick.My only wish.. that one of the tongs was longer. I like having 1 smaller one, but the 2nd would be best if it were longer to make my reach over hot items less severe.
