This works great, but the handle is longer than I expected. That was my fault because I didn't read the size info as thoroughly as I should have. It functions well but just takes up a little more space to store.
This is a great spider for cooking. No gaps for debris to get into in the handle and it washes well in the dishwasher. Love this kitchen too!

I needed one of these & this one checked all the boxes. I love it! It feels very sturdy & is long enough that I don't have to get my hand near the hot oil. It washes super well too & still looks like new even though I've been using it for a few months already.
I am very pleased with the quality of this spider strainer. It's durable and has a 1-piece handle that's easy to keep clean because it doesn't have any joints or edges that trap food.The length is good for things like deep frying where you don't want your hands near the hot oil, but you SHOULD take note of the length because it might not be right for you. I must admit now that I'm using it that I would prefer one that's an inch or two shorter for things like small batch blanching or boiling. And this long one takes up a lot of space in your drawer or dishwasher!

I try to eat as healthy as possible and by default my husband is "forced" to do the same.So it took me a bit to use the Sunwukin 304 Stainless Steel Spider in the kitchen. It works great, with a long enough handle to dig into my dutch oven where I had oil going to make my Bavarian Cream donuts we were craving. I haven't figured out how to airfry a donut, so oil and a spider it is.😊The handle is not only long enough that I wasn't dealing with droplets of oil splattering at me as I laid the donuts in to fry, but the ergonomics are perfect for me. Not overly heavy, and the bottom of the spider will pull out my donuts without damaging them at all.Sunwukin states the Stainless Steel Spider is made of 304 and 18/8 stainless steel and points to the handle in the photo. I'm just not sure what to make of a one piece handle being made of two types of stainless. Frankly, that doesn't make sense to me.I like the generous sized hole which allows one to hang the Sunwukin 304 Stainless Steel Spider on virtually any type of hook one has in the kitchen.The ladle is solid and can hold a fair amount of weight without making me feel nervous about losing food items I'm removing from oil and placing on a plate with paper towel to drain of excess oil.Washing the Sunwukin 304 Stainless Steel Spider was a breeze. Admittedly, I use dishwasher tablets that claim no preaching is necessary and cost more than most. These tablets remove even scorched food from my dutch oven when I make a roast. No pre-washing or scrubbing in the least for that or for the Sunwukin 304 Stainless Steel Spider.Even though I question the use of two different types of stainless on the handle, I like how the Sunwukin 304 Stainless Steel Spider works. It is solid and can recommend it.
