Good price fit on the Tumblers properly
I bought these the 1st time a few months ago. There are four in a pack. I throw them in the very top rack of my dishwasher (which has 3 racks, so I put them in the top-most rack, but I assume a standard top rack would be just fine too).Durability: the hard plastic hinge piece has two little nubs that allow you to open and close it. On 2/4 of the lids at least one nub broke. On the 3rd, the place where the nub rubs has become fractured slightly, which means that the piece sometimes falls off, even if you have it raised, when you try to drink, so that it has fallen to the car floor, etc. as you are drinking. So, this is about $2.50 per lid and doesn't last quite a year with semi-frequent use. My husband is generally the only person who uses these, and he takes one to work per day (usually 5 days a week), so on average these each get used 1-2 times a week. For my money, I am willing to buy this item again. For $10 I have four new lids for our two stainless steel 30 oz cups and he can take one to work each day. These replacement lids allowed me to continue using my wonderful 30 oz cups past the point when their original lids failed, plus these lids have a much more secure closure and are a great improvement over the lids that came with our cups. These are dishwasher safe and I feel more confident about the cleanliness of a clear lid that I can see if any mold, detergent build-up, etc. is on the lid or building up inside any joints/moving parts. I am a bit obsessive about putting lids in the dishwasher if I see detergent build-up or if there are sliding parts that I don't feel like water is cleaning in the dishwasher. I feel like these have helped with the items that must be hand-washed/sterilized and they make my life easier & I don't have to sacrifice any worry of sanitation or cleanliness. This is an item I feel is worthy of the small investment for the improvement of the daily morning prep process and to reduce the drudgery of handwashing small pieces (way too many coffee cups say "handwash", despite being stainless steel and having plastic parts).I would buy this item again (and again, as I already have).
These work great. Nice options of straw use or plug the straw hole and use the sipping hole.
The description and the measurements on these lids is a little or or too vague. I measured three of my cups and they were within .1" difference. The lids fit 2. It fits a Magellan 30 oz. and a Yeti 30 oz., but not the RTIC. I don't know what they call "OLD" or "New".Measure carefully, but even then, you may not get the lid you want. The lids that I have fitted are really nice, equally as good as the originals in quality. They are much better designed for my use. I also ordered the handle and the 10.5" plastic straws that fit the center hole perfectly.
Love it.
The lids are almost perfect but need a vent hole. I drilled a small hole at the opposite side of the mouth hole. Vent issue no longer an issue. It's easy - check out the video.
These tops do work with a Yeti 30oz tumbler. ..... but.... the lid has to click twice before it is seated properly and it take a lot of effort to get it to click. It clicks once when you use very little effort to close the drink opening. .... but if you turn it upside down or sideways it leaks. Then you realize that you need to press the drink opening down even harder to hear the second click. Then you can turn it upside down and it is sealed correctly..... After clicking twice, you have to hold down the lid as you open the drink flap that has to click twice as you open it. Why? Because the lid will come off when you try to open the drink flap if you don't hold the lid down.In other words, this aftermarket lid does work but it is a pain to use compared to a Real Yeti lid.
