I had been searching for a new set of dishes for a while now. These caught my eye! I wanted enough dishes to entertain with. I have never spent this much money on dishes before, but I wanted something really nice. These did not disappoint! I'm obsessed with the large bowls! They are great for salads, or a beautiful bowl of pasta! The different patterns are so fun! Love these dishes!
I really like this dinnerware set. The stoneware plates and bowls have the weight you'd expect for stoneware so heavier than glass or porcelain. The patterns are very nice and the quality is good as well. At first I thought the textured plates would be unusual to use but I found it no different than a smooth topped plate. The larger pasta plates/bowls are my favorite and can be used for any number of saucy or soupy foods. The dishes are easy to clean and have shown no wear from our dishwasher. When our order first arrived we had 3 broken bowls so I contacted Fobenta directly through email. They responded very quickly, friendly and super helpful. Our replacement bowls arrived in perfect condition.
The dishes arrived and they look great. Unfortunately, we had a broken plate. I emailed customer service and they responded within a couple of hours with instructions. After following their I instructions, they responded again and shipped a replacement right away. Excellent customer service! I recommend them to anyone. They are a great company.
I was a little nervous about textured plates and whether they would be difficult to cut on or clean but it has not been an issue. Only thing is you can’t be lazy and let your runny eggs dry on the plate and expect to scrape them off with a plastic scraper.I love these dishes for so many reasons:1. Not too heavy—they have some substance but are manageable for children to handle. And the lips are nice and thin so it’s easy to get your fingers in there to carry what you need, unlike some trendy plates with steep sides.2. Match everything—the neutral colored pattern makes them interesting to look at while still being versatile enough to match any tablecloth.3. No chips so far—these have been in daily use for 6 months and so far no chips.4. Doesn’t suck up heat—I actually did a scientific experiment with an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of the dishes and food (I used water) before and after being microwaved. Compared to several other sets of dishes that I own, these resulted in both the hottest food and the coolest dishes after microwaving. We all noticed how much hotter our breakfasts were compared to our old dishes which would immediately suck the heat out of our eggs.5. Unique—these definitely have a handmade look to them; some have more white, some more taupe coming through, the curvature of the plates has a little variation.Note: if you want service for 12, do NOT buy two sets of 6. You will get a lot more of two of the patterns. Get a set of 4 and a set of 8. Then you will have 3 of each pattern.
These dishes are great quality and beautiful. The pasta bowl is my favorites. I use them everyday not just for pasta. When I received them there were 2 broken bowls. I sent an email with pictures and had a response the same day letting me know they would replace them immediately. My replacements will be here Sunday only 5 days from sending the email. I highly recommend this manufacturer!!
The dishes were packaged very well and arrived in excellent condition. The patterns are all beautiful. They are sturdy as well. Also, the customer service is excellent. I would recommend this dinnerware set.
I gave these 5/5 stars, not only for the dishes but for the customer service. When I received them a lot of them were broken. I contacted the company and they didn’t just send a plate or replacements, they sent an entire new set! The agent I worked with was so kind and the response time was quick! The quality of these dishes, for the price is so good! I highly recommend these dishes! They look just like the pictures but are more beautiful in person!. They definitely exceeded my expectations! They have done great in the dishwasher! The packaging isn’t that great, which is why a lot of the dishes ended up breaking but overall they are well worth it! & I plan to add to the set I have! I promise you will not be disappointed!
