My new favorite!
I buy a lot of mugs/tea and coffee things and I honestly end up giving many away. I don't like a whole bunch of complicated tops with spouts, attachments and straws that I can't keep clean. I don't like a bunch of moving pieces where gunk gets all in there and I'm not a fan of those rubber gaskets that wear out or the non-slip grip things that get too big at some point. This cup didn't have any of that!This is a very well-made, solid glass mug with a plastic handle that looks like it's pretty solidly on there and a simple but extremely well insulated top that screws on and off easily. Peak design and it's so big!! I had no idea I was getting a mini pitcher for the price, excellent value. There is one gasket in the lid but it was easy to remove, clean and put back on. Also the cup seals up well and steeps perfectly.One word of warning... use the handle! This is not a double walled, vacuum sealed anything. It is solid, thick glass and it will get hot. I filled it to the top with boiling water so take that for the good advice it is. That being said once it was full of about a liter of boiling water it held it's ground. None of that ominous pinging or signs of strain. This is going to be my favorite mug for quite some time. It's the kind of thing that makes me want to buy an extra and stash it in case anything happens to this one.

Good in theory, but functionality can be improved upon
As a an avid loose leaf tea brewer and consumer, I really wanted to love this all in one mug, infuser, and pitcher, but unfortunately it tried to be too many things that it wasn’t so it missed the mark some.The good thing about the cup is the size. You can brew a couple of hot or cold cups of tea without the need to brew a whole pitcher. The bad thing about this is the size of the included infuser which screws into the lid. It’s very short so you can only make tea that fills the entire cup, otherwise the water won’t touch the tea infuser at all.Because the cup isn’t insulated, and the glass is a bit thin, once you have your hot or cold cup of tea, it won’t stay that way for very long. I could be more forgiving of this if there was a pour spout so it could easily be transferred to another cup, but there is not making the transfer of liquids a little messy, and possibly painful if your tea is hot.While not terribly complicated to use, and not totally useless (as this can be used to brew a quick few cups of tea, or overnight iced tea, that’s immediately transferred to a container that will keep it hot or cold), that will be transferred to another cup, I can’t justify the value for money when there are other devices that do one, or some, of the things that this cup does with a higher efficiency.

Great design, size and usefullness!
Lost a star as no neoprene cover on something that takes Hot and Cold liquids and is glass. If you made black tea in this like I do, then the glass by itself is incredibly hot even if absentmindedly, since there is a handle, instant shock/burn. I purchased a cover for it and it is now perfection itself. No accidents! And it looks great adding protection to the glass part. But it did of course up the price by $10. Anyway great design, very useful size. Sturdy and I love it! Definitely leak proof. Might just take it out in the car and see how it does soon…lol
