Great quality piece

Solid cutting board with the feet and apron optional. This is almost countertop depth! I used it to cover a freestanding island piece to extend the countertop. I was able to use the included apron to fill the small gap at the back of the counter with a small modification. Worked out beautifully!

Nice piece of wood that can be made a great cutting board.

A pretty nice chunk of wood. It needs a bit of love before you use it. I gave it a light scuff with 0000 steel wool, and clean with a good tack cloth and some mineral oil.After a couple of hours to suck that into the pores, I gave it a thick coating of Z's Wood Nectar (wood butter works as well). Let that rest for a few hours - buffed that out and re-applied the wood nectar and let it set up overnight.Re-applied the wood nectar about once a week for a month. Now has a nice sheen and repels most things like tomato juice or olive juice etc.I added some soft pads to the bottom rails at all 4 corners to keep it from slipping about while in use.

I have an electric cooktop and a very curious cat who gets into everything. I needed something to cover the cooktop to protect the surface from her nails.
