When these arrived I was really pleased with how sturdy these straws are. I was a little worried because the price of $14.99 for 36 straws is considerably less than I have paid for silly straws in the past. When I compared them to a couple of more expensive silly straws that I currently own, the overall quality was identical.Since we live on a lake, we have guests almost every weekend and there are usually kids or grandkids accompanying the adults. I like to keep a supply of these on hand to give out to the kids. They love them! Having so many fun designs and colors will definitely make it easy for the kids to identify their own straw and eliminate any arguments over whose straw belongs to whom. Now that I have so many I can let the kids take them home when they leave.I tested a couple of the different designs and didn’t have any problem drinking water with them. I think they will handle any liquid like milk, juice, water, or soda. I would never expect any silly straw to handle slushies or milkshakes. Generally speaking, they are simply too narrow for thick liquids.Washing silly straws isn’t all that difficult despite how narrow and twisted they are. I submerge them in hot, soapy water and let them soak for a while. Then I rinse each straw out under hot running water. Dried chocolate milk can be a little harder to clean out. Sometimes I have to soak those a second time, but they always come clean eventually.Not only do I think that these straws are a great value, but I am I seriously considering ordering 3 or 4 packages of these to hand out to trick-or-treaters this coming Halloween.

Great mix
I am very pleased with the mix of these straws. Both my nieces and nephews had a ball drinking with them. As did a few of the adults. The variety of colors and shapes made it easy for everyone to pick the perfect one. They are very strong and did not bend or snap. Cleaning them was easy as well.

Super cute loopy straws promoted as “reusable and extra wide” but would be very difficult to clean.
36 Fun straws for children and adults that come in12 loop shapes and 12 colors. These loopy straws will brighten any party or festive occasion. They are suitable for fancy cocktail drinks, and birthday party favors that are sure to delight the youngest guest. That said there are a couple of things to think about if ordering them :1. The straws are described as “reusable and extra wide” which leads one to believe they are easy to clean. They are in fact narrow and would be difficult to clean for reuse since a straw brush is out of the question given the loops …. so most likely the straws would be discarded after one use for safety reasons.2. Since the straws are narrow rather than “extra wide” they would be less suitable for drinks much more viscous than water.3. I tried several shapes out and as expected, the tighter the loops the more difficult it is get the liquid from the glass to your mouth, so save the wider looped straws for youngest children in the group. Adults would not have a problem unless the drink is very viscus. A milkshake would be impossible unless melted.

Silly Straws
These are your standard silly straws. They come in many different shapes and colors. It's a great variety pack and they are exactly what you expect for silly straws. They are a plastic material and see through. Don't use them with hot liquids as that can cause them to deform a bit if they get too hot (as any other plastic straw would). They make for great goodie bag gifts for birthdays, and grab bags at events (as I plan on doing with some of mine. ). I love that so many come in the pack, making them a great value.

So much fun!
These are great! And, they're suitable for year-round parties or even for your kids' drinks at home. I love the variety of shapes and colors. They're not long enough for a pint glass or venti coffee cup, so keep that in mind. The quality is great - they're hard plastic, not disposable or bendable rubber. Obviously, because they're narrow and loopy, you can't clean them with a straw brush, so you'll need to carefully wash them with soap and water, run them both through the straw, and then rinse thoroughly.
