Terrible temperature control, poor timer, otherwise pretty good

Everything works great except for temperature. When set to 70F the internal temperature is around 90F even though the ambient temperature in the room is 59F. There does not seem to be a way to switch off the heater either. This is a problem for my application. I bought it to make biltong specifically because it had a lowest temperature setting of 70F. 90F is a significant overshoot. I was prepared to live with having to rest it each day because the timer is only up to 24 hours (very annoying because I want it to run for at least five to seven days), but if it cannot maintain lower temperatures, I'll get case hardening on the biltong, which is really not great.

Top Notch Food Dehydrtor, The Rotating Trays make it Amazing. Love it!

I’ve been using this dehydrator for a bit now and it’s seriously impressive. The large capacity is perfect for big batches, especially when making raw vegan wraps and crackers, vegan dog treats and raw veggie burgers. I really like the auto rotating feature because it helps everything dry evenly without having to shuffle trays around. The machine heats up fast and the timer makes it easy to set and forget. It feels solid and well built, definitely more commercial grade than smaller dehydrators I’ve owned. Despite the size, it’s pretty straightforward to use and clean. This has made food prep and preservation so much more efficient at home. I love being able to use one unit instead of three different ones at one time, this has the perfect amount of trays to make my food for the week at one time. I would recommend highly, Thank you!
