Well Made and Functional but Insanely Overpriced Appliance Slider Tray
This Omifora Bamboo Appliance Slider Tray is a solid piece of bamboo with plastic ball bearings at the bottom corners to make it slide. There are long indentations at the front and back edges so that you can easily grab it to pull it out and push it back. It comes with two stick-on cord holders to keep appliance cords tidy. A very clever way to make those bulky kitchen appliances that you keep at the back of your counter—your coffee maker, your food processor, your electric can opener—easily accessible when you need them!The crucial functional component of a slider tray is the ball bearings underneath that allow it to slide. This tray, like most appliance slider trays, has plastic ball bearings. (I originally thought, “Geez! At these prices, they can’t even afford stainless steel ball bearings?”) That is because plastic, as a very soft material, is very unlikely to damage countertops. Steel, with a hardness between 5.5 and 6.5 on the Mohs scale, is harder than some countertop materials, like marble (Mohs 3-5), Solid Surface (Corian) (Mohs 2-3), and soapstone (Mohs 1-2). However, plastic ball bearings can still damage counter surfaces indirectly, by trapping dirt particles that roll with the ball bearing and act like abrasive sandpaper. To prevent this, it is necessary to either keep your countertop very clean or to cover it with a mat, so that the plastic ball bearings with their embedded dirt will never touch the counter surface.Can this slider tray rotate 360 degrees like the product title says? Yes! But it is really designed to move back and forth. You would need a large rotation area on your countertop to use it that way. (And how many of us have that much extra countertop space?). If you really want to rotate things in a full circle, a lazy Susan will work better in a much smaller space.This slider tray is somewhat unusual in that it is dyed black. I appreciate that, because I have black countertops. If you have lighter countertops, you might prefer the natural bamboo color.Bamboo appliance slider trays of this type can be had for $9.49 to $38. Most cost in the $17-$22 range. At the list price of $32.90, this slider tray is nosebleed expensive. Is it twice as good as Amazon’s Overall Pick at $16.99, for example? Extremely unlikely. These slider trays mostly come in the same size and shape, are mostly made of bamboo, and all have plastic ball bearings. You can almost certainly find something much cheaper that will serve your purposes just as well. (Hint: there is an almost identical black slider tray for $20.)This appliance slider tray seems well made and does its job perfectly well. The two included stick-on cord holders are a nice touch. But you can get something very similar much cheaper.

This slider tray has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen organization; I was tired of trying to wrestle my coffee maker and air fryer out from under the cabinets, and this makes it so much easier. Everything just glides out smoothly, even with my heavier appliances on it, and it rotates a full 360 degrees which is surprisingly useful for accessing different parts. It fits perfectly under my cabinets, and the large size easily accommodated my toaster oven when I needed to move it. This is the most awesome thing in my kitchen. I wish I could buy about five more of them.Right now it's supporting my 2-ton Kitchen-aid stand mixer. It's ridiculously easy - no, fun! - to be able to pull the mixer out when I need it, then push it back into its far corner when I don't. This tray is shockingly smooth and easy to roll, even over the small gap between my countertop and a same-level tabletop that butts up to it. In trying to decide the best place for it I've used it with my 4-slice toaster, food saver, instant pot, and even a small microwave. Even though some of these were a little too big for the tray, it didn't flinch with any of them.This is one of my all-time favorite Amazon purchases - it's a small thing, but it makes my life a little easier multiple times throughout the day.

Thrilled to receive my appliance slider tray. A lot of trays seems to only go forward and back, but this one goes 360 degrees, which is exactly what I needed.I have a massive Breville Toaster Oven and its got quite the footprint on my counter space, largely because I have to keep it on a diagonal to use because its heavy and trying to move it is a nightmare.Enter this bamboo appliance slider! I think I literally RAN into my kitchen with it in my hot little hands as soon as Alexa announced the delivery. Was only mildly disappointed to discover that I could really use a couple more inches in width, and got my Breville right up on there. Then I slid it backwards so it could rest flush against the wall and freed up about 2 feet of counter space. Be still my heart. I love it.There is one thing they could have done better, and that’s the quality of the little wheels. They’re plastic and I think I felt them stick (a lot like a wonky wheel in a grocery cart) a couple of times. Stainless steel may have worked better, but it may not be friendly to all surfaces, who knows. So only one star off for that, otherwise I’m mad about it!

Moves Heavy Objects Easily
This appliance slider works perfectly to slide heavy items such as my KitchenAid Stand Mixer or my trash bin. The slider allows you to move the appliance easily across the counter or floor without having to pick up the heavy appliance. It was shipped and delivered quickly; and arrived bubble wrapped in a sturdy box. It even came with two (2) cord ties which will be nice to wrap up the electrical cords on appliances. At the time I received it, this item was priced at $33 which I think is a bit expensive. But it works, so I'm happy.
