These widemouth lids are ideal for my storage and canning needs!
I just received the 36 piece widemouth canning lids for Ball, Kerr, and Mason jars. Bands do not come with these lids, which I knew before ordering them. I am very pleased with these! I use Mason jars for storing dry items such as coffee, oatmeal, rice, etc. because they are glass and I don’t have to worry about exposure to plastics. I was able to seal a wide mouth jar with coffee inside of it right away using my vacuum sealer. The seal was tight and I could actually suspend the jar from the sealed lid because of this. They are 86 mm wide. They are the perfect size for my wide mouth jars. The top sides of the lids are a silvery gold color with lines on them to label the contents of the jar with a date and the name of the item. The bottom side of the lids are white and have orange seals that go around the circumference of the lids. These lids are a great value given the quantity and will be ideal for dry storage or canning foods like tomatoes, cucumbers, jams, and jellies. I recommend these lids!

This set of 36 wide mouth canning lids will be great to have during the next canning season. Before that even happens next fall, we had a cow butchered and I plan on canning a large portion of the hamburger for convenience.These lids are comparable to brand name lids I have use in the past. They have a built in seal that fits snugly on my wide mouthed jars.There is plenty of room to write what is in the jar and date slots are provided as well. The inside/underside of the lid has a white protection coating to form a barrier keeping food longer and protecting the metal from deterioration happening.This set is every bit as nice in thickness, quality, and reliability as my other lids, at a reasonable cost compared to what I have paid for brand names. It’s been decades since I last did serious canning, but I’ve kept all my supplies. After buying a mason jar vacuum sealer, I learned that older canning lids often contained BPA—something I’ve been trying to avoid. When I learned that lids contained BPA until about 10–15 years ago, I realized my stash was definitely outdated, so out they went.Replacement lids were much more expensive than I expected, so I was happy to find these OAKDOLCHE wide-mouth lids at about half the price of major brands—and they’re BPA-free.They come sealed in six cellophane packages, each containing six lids—a big plus as far as storage goes. The lids appear equal in quality to name-brand lids. I especially like the clean design with no logo, plenty of space for labeling, and a stamped area for the date so you only have to add the numbers.I tested the lids with my vacuum sealer, and they work perfectly. Now that I have a good supply of safe lids, I’m even thinking about putting up pickles this year!

Great lids - every lid I used sealed perfectly
These are very good lids. Let me be clear that I do no canning nor do I hot water bath. However, I do seal my jars with a vacuum sealer and these lids seal very tightly using this method and all the lids I’ve used sealed without fail - so I feel confident in recommending these lids to others. And I do think the current price under $8 for 36 lids is a great buy so if you need new lids for the upcoming gardening/harvesting/preserving season, grab these now before quality lids become difficult to find (as always seems to happen as Spring arrives). Great lids!
