Use these for making sourdough. This is my second set as I’m starting to bake 6 loaves at a time
I love these towels. They are perfect for when I am waiting for bread to rise. I have also used them to drap over a cooling rack that has a pie underneath to help regulate the cooling process of my pie. These towels are a little on the thin side, and because of that when waiting.for the bread to rise you have to double the towls. They aren't that expensive and worth it. The only issue I have had is when I wash them they come out of the wash with the ends all rolled up or bunched up. Most of the time I hang dry them, but my daughter did know they was in the wash and tossed them in the dryer. They shrunk in size, but not by much. They still cover one pan of 24 dinner rolls just don't have much coverage past the pan. These towel had at least 2 to 3 inches of over hang on each side of my pan. Now they have an inch. I have used these towels at least two dozen times since getting them and they are holding up pretty well. I would buy again if I can't find a thiker tea towel.
Nice quality and very large - perfect for sourdough without a basket for proofing. I just wrap the dough, with a little flour, and place it in a normal bowl.
Works perfect
Quality product
Small and not as absorbing as I expected cotton to be. I washed them twice and still not very absorbent
