Gorgeous, Well-Made Kitchen Towels That Add a Fresh Spring Touch

I absolutely loved the design, color, and overall quality of these kitchen towels. This was my first time ordering a set of kitchen towels mainly for their design, and I have to say they exceeded my expectations. The lemon and hummingbird pattern is bright, cheerful, and perfect for spring—it instantly makes the kitchen feel more inviting and refreshed.The quality is just as impressive as the appearance. The towels are soft but still feel sturdy and well-made, and the terry cloth provides good absorbency for everyday kitchen tasks. They’re practical enough for regular use, but honestly pretty enough to be displayed on the oven handle or towel bar as part of your décor.I also appreciate how versatile they are. I can easily see myself using them not only for drying dishes and hands, but also for proofing homemade bread or covering baked goods. pretty and absorbent but not the highest quality cotton

When these arrived they smelled bad and felt weird. I think that maybe there was some sort of chemical coating applied either during the manufacturing process or due to import regulations. When you first feel it, you will think that it isn't actually cotton, but it is. For things like this, I always soak them in cold water with half a cup of vinegar overnight before washing. I often experience the same thing when buying old stock cotton/wool blend military long underwear and this trick always works.After soaking and washing on cold, they didn't appear to shrink to a noticeable degree. I machine dried them on medium, though typically I hang my bar towels of this type to dry on a rack. They also survived the dryer without shrinking. There was no pilling or loose strings.That said, the cotton used here doesn't seem to be the highest quality. It's some type of waffle weave terry that reminds me of towels from the late 70s/early 80s that you don't really see anymore. While it is neither soft like muslin nor crisp like tea towels, I personally miss this type of towel because I think they are the most absorbent. A lot of the newer weaves seem to bead water off and are not very useful, but these will soak up liquid super quick. And while the material feel isn't the most luxurious, the pattern is really pretty. It's printed well and will look great hanging. That said, the plain colored towel in the set isn't quite as nice looking due to the fabric.It's great that they include hanging hooks since so many don't, and they are nicely packaged and presented.I have other patterned tea towels and even muslin towels I like more for looks, but I'd say this ties with my favorite tea towels for usability. Thus, four stars. I think it's a decent-ish value at the current asking price of $14 dollars, and while you can find better out there, you are unlikely to find better here on Amazon.Hope that helps!

Nice set of three 100% cotton towels. They are the typical kitchen towel size.The cat ones are a very well done screening and they’re both identical. One side is the cat image and the other is just plain white fabric. This towel is not waffle knit, unlike the red-orange one. It’s also not a thick terry cloth either.All three towels are actually on the thinner side, but not sheer or incredibly thin. This does actually help them pick up liquids instead of pushing them around. And will also help with drying the towels quicker so they don’t take absurdly long in the dryer or forever hanging and getting mildewy.The red-orange cloth is vibrantly colored. It does have more texture to it than the cat towels since it has no print and it utilizes a different knit.These towels will do the job of kitchen towels very well, but they’re obviously mainly as little attention pieces for your kitchen, and they do that very well. The cats head is huge and it definitely goes noticed when you enter the room. Two of them might be a bit much for one room. The colors pair well with the solid colored towel.

Five stars for pattern quality and value for the money, especially if you are using these towels for decoration or light kitchen duty.However, if you are looking for a thick kitchen towel, you may not find these suitable.The patterns on the black towels are cute and are printed just how the images appear in the product listing and it's easy to identify what the pattern includes (i.e. snails, ferns, mushrooms, etc).While the towels themselves are pretty thin -- if you hold them up to the light, you can see through them -- don't discredit them because they still have a decent level of absorbency. They wash and dry well, although i would recommend machine drying on a low setting or air drying the towels to prevent shrinkage over time.One final touch I thought I would mention is that these towels arrived in a cute and decorative large paper envelope and the towels themselves have pretty cotton tags that almost give them a handmade appearance. So, if you're looking for something good for gifting, these might be a good consideration for you.
