Great Heart Pans That Bake Evenly
I love to bake, so I was excited to try these pans. They are made of aluminum, which makes them very light, but they still feel sturdy and not at all flimsy. The set comes with 3 sizes (6, 8 and 10 inches) that fit right inside each other. This is great because it saves space in my kitchen cabinet.I used the 8 inch and 10 inch pans to make a layered birthday cake. The pans did a great job of spreading the heat around. Both cakes baked to the same golden brown color all over with no burnt or pale spots. The inside of the cake was fluffy and had the same texture from the edges to the middle. The two larger pans are almost 2.4 inches deep, which gives you nice thick cake layers that don't get dry.The one thing I noticed is the inside surface. It's smooth, but it's not the kind of non-stick surface you might see on other pans. You'll still need to grease them with butter and add a light coating of flour to make sure the cake comes out easily, especially around the curves of the heart. When I did that, the cakes popped right out with no trouble.The smooth rounded edges make the pans easy and safe to hold and they are simple to wash by hand. For anyone who wants to make special occasion or layered cakes, this set is a really good deal that works reliably. It's perfect for someone who bakes a lot but might be more than you need if you just make basic square cakes.

Versatile set of cake pans PERFECT for valentines or an engagement party!
I love to bake, and I bake often. One of my favorite things to make is cake! When I saw this three piece set of heart shaped pans, I knew I had to have them. Especially with valentines day fast approaching.I am very pleased with these pans on first glance. They are lightweight aluminum making them suitable for baking of both cakes and brownies (or giant cookies). I appreciate that they are not non-stick and will allow for a beautiful crust on whatever I make inside of them. These pans are a great deal and quality! They are fun for any occasion. My kids loved cooking with them and the food came out great they were very easy to clean and use.
