Easy to use and eco friendly
I purchased these silicone mason jar lids as a potential healthier solution to using the typical ball style screw lids for use in the freezer for storing the kids fruit smoothies. I know that their intended purpose is to hold dry goods but I always worried about the mason jars breaking or the smoothie touching the toxic cap as it expanded. I filled multiple mason jars with water, placed these lids on them, and shook the jar every which way. I set the jars upside down, and on their side to watch for any water to leak out. After 30 minutes these behaviors and checking I only found a little dampness around the seal. The lids fit snuggly onto the mason jar lids and did a reasonable job keeping water in. Making these perfect for use in the freezer to allow for some expansion with out worry and keep the contents in just in case they accidentally tip over. The kids can pull their treats in and out of the freezer and manage the lids on their own where as the standard ball lids were always difficult for them to twist off. Another feature that I like is that the silicone lids are reversible and the same lid can be used on both the wide and regular mouth size mason jars. I like the effort that ecopeaceful made to use eco friendly packaging as well.

These are so cool and perfect for my 5 year old because he can open them himself. I’ve started mixing up homemade yogurts in small jars instead of buying the yogurt cups and my son really likes these! They seem to fit securely but are not too difficult to open. It’s also so cool that they can fit both wide and regular mouth jars!

I use these for various fridge pickles (red onions, sour kraut, kimchi) so that acid and salt don't rust metal rings. These lids are more watertight than most. I'm a big fan of having one lid that fits either wide or regular mouth mason jars (inside and upside down for wide mouth, and outside for narrow mouth).

Pretty Damn Good, with One Flaw
Just got these. They fit both regular and wide mouth ball jars, and at easy to take on and off. The curve that you put your straw/spoon through makes a nice handle for removal. I filled both a regular and wide mouth jar with water to test the seal. The regular jar didn’t leak, but the wide wide leaked water slowly. I use jars for storage in the fridge so I don’t think it’ll be a problem for me, but I don’t think it’s be good for traveling.
