Now this knife sharpener was the cheapest sharpener that was for sale that did multiple things instead of just having one slot. It works extremely well. I sharpened 11 knives already with it and they are extremely freaking sharp. It does a great job and it’s it’s quick you don’t need to have a stone and oil. It works very well simple.

Good For Knives That Are Not Dull

If you aren't particular about getting a perfectly razor sharp knife this unit will do just fine. You do have the benefit of dialing in the blade angle, which is nice.I am, however, not enamored with the coarse setting. Yes, it will remove enough metal to reshape the edge to allow more refined sharpening. But at times it removed a bit too much in spots, resulting in an uneven edge. But if you have knives that are reasonably sharp and you don't want to let them get dull, the other settings will help keep your knives reasonably sharp.
