Unpacking Took and Hour and They Were Dented
These chafing dishes are the size and quality that we hoped for. The reason for the low rating is that each piece came covered in a plastic film coating that needed to be peeled off. This took over an hour to do and created a big mess, since the plastic was embedded in the folded edges of the pan so separated from the main sheet and needed to be peeled off.After we’d unpacked and cleared the plastic from more than half the pieces, we discovered that all four of the base pans were dented on one edge, and several of the other pieces had dents as well.At this point, returning them would be a major pain, with no guarantee that a replacement would be of better quality - and we definitely don’t want to spend another hour peeling plastic, so I guess we’re stuck with them.I think they’ll function as needed, but am not happy with the experience.
