This 4 pack of salad tongs seem durable. the bowls of the spoon and fork ends are a good size for grabbing a healthy amount of salad. The handles are flat and not rounded so they're not as comfortable to hold. They also have a cheaper look to them then the ones I had that were rounded. They're easy to clean though and work well for their intended purpose.
I was not expecting these tongs to be nearly so heavy and solid. The four of them together are really weighty! They feel extremely durable.They're simple and casual - similar in style and design to bulk-packs of buffet silverware from the big box membership warehouses - with fairly blunt edges. That said, they're very utilitarian, and should serve really well on a buffet. They open and close like a pair of scissors, and the head opens up wide enough to get a big serving of salad or whatever food you're reaching for. The hinge works smoothly and feels very solidly made.These should be good workhorses for a long time!
