Very good option for meal prepping.

Love these jars. I've started to meal prep for the work week to avoid having to pack or figure out lunch last minute (which makes you spend more money than you want to). The jars are really nice for salads. The cup for dressing is plenty big, and I like the little container for dry ingredients. I am glad that I chose the more expensive option that included the sporks. A regular fork is just a little too short to eat out of the glass container. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Only way to make this better is to include a long fork! Love these, I prep my salads at the beginning of the week & just grab & go. Glass jars, the rest is plastic, all dishwasher safe (although I probably shouldn't wash the plastic in there)Long story short, I highly recommend! Maybe throw in a fork with some way to attach it to the jar 🤷🏼‍♀️

Works for soup storage

My review is based on function rather than price - at $39 (at the time of this review), this set may be a bit pricey, but the functionality is top notch. The jars themselves are thick and heavy, these things are not going to split or crack at the slightest contact. The components are all dishwasher safe which is a huge plus.The product description mainly focuses on salads, but we use these jars for soup storage. Once cold weather hits we cook large batches of soup that we eat throughout the week. These jars are ideal for storing the soup in the refrigerator - each jar holds 2 servings, and with the measurements in the glass, it's easy to portion out what we want. The primary complaint though is that these jars are NOT microwave safe, so when I take a jar to work I still need a separate bowl to reheat the contents. Having the plastic insert is nice because I can store my oyster crackers (although it can get a bit messy when the soup sloshes around!), and ideally I'd be able to nuke the jar and eat straight out of it.Even with that drawback (which is unique to our use of the jars), these are still great to have. The jars store so much easier in the fridge than large plastic containers that we used prior to these. I haven't used them for salads yet, but will once we get into the Spring and we transition away from eating so much soup.
