A wonderful alternative to glass or plastic

I'm trying to avoid excess plastic but needed something to hold sandwiches I prepare everyday. Tried glass containers that were too heavy and cumbersome but these stainless containers have proven to be a great solution. Extremely lightweight with snug, well fitting silicone lids and easy to stack in a cabinet. Only reason I deducted a star from review rating was because 2 of the containers arrived blemished by deep scratches circling the interiors and I'm hoping that won't result in future rusting. Although the scratches snagged my dishcloth I'm willing to take a chance since I really like the overall purpose of this stainless set. Edited to update: the seller was concerned about my receiving 2 damaged containers and very graciously offered to send me a replacement set. This effort was going above and beyond normal customer service and I'm now even more convinced this was an excellent purchase. These lightweight stainless containers are such a pleasure to use. Highly recommend!

Disappointing product. The lids do not snap closed, making them useless. Unless you want a container where the lid just rests on the container rather than snapping on, do not buy.
