These are actually really great! I was afraid they were going to be a really flimsy silicone like a pair I bought a few years ago. But these are heavy duty and yet still very flexible and exactly what I needed because my new stainless steel pans are great, but the handles get really hot. These work exactly like I was hoping. Easy to slip on, nice sturdy weight and wash up in the dish dishwasher when necessary love them!
Fit my 12 inch pan nicely. The pot holders were a nice plus.
Got these because I bought a pot set that I discovered did not have heatproof handles as the photo on the box showed.They're not bad, but if you have to hold the metal handle or grips on the pot for any length of time (like while straining liquid out of the pot), the silicon still gets hot.So you do have to learn to work quickly while using them, otherwise you'll wind up with burnt fingers.Great idea, but the material needs some work. Perhaps it should be slightly thicker?
So much better than pot holders or oven mitts. Stays on and doesn’t slip. So glad I got these.
Just what I needed for my cast iron pans. Just took once to grab a hot handle.
Mine were from the beginning way too loose for my Lodge skillets. Others here say they fit Lodge skillets just fine, but that was not my experience. I do not trust moving the skillet with just the handle cover alone so I use the grip cover at the same time, which is also loose.
The silicon holders work very well. I especially like the rectangular ones, they come in very handy when using my Lodge cast iron flat top griddle. They fit well over the 2 corners where you lift from.
