Smooth drinking
Ordered my first set and three out of four straws would not release the filter and I ended up smashing two of them pretty good trying to get the filter out and back in. So set 1 was returned.Set two has been delivered and performance is great! All four straws release the filter with minimal effort which makes cleaning easy.(I have several straw brushes from other things and one of them is longer than the straw so that is a non-issue for me as well, the one that comes with the straws is a bit short)I drink brewed cacao on a regular basis and was looking for something that was more portable than the French press. These suit the purpose. They filter out the grounds finely enough that my drink is smooth texture and don’t get clogged up by grounds which would make it very hard to suck through the straw.Quite happy with the purchase. Looking forward to see how well I feel they do in the dishwasher versus hand washing too.

Excellent for coffee, the fine mesh will not let the small espresso coffee grinds to go through! This means it's not good for smoothies, the mesh is too fine for that and it won't let anything through.
