Tumblers sublimate well but impossible to do a full wrap no matter how many tricks you think you have in your hat. They do not have an even taper, bubble out in the middle, so a conical wrap does not work.
Didn’t work for even sublimation
One of the tumblers had a big dent in it and will not be able to do any sublimation on it, a wasted cup for sure other than that I am happy with the rest of the tumblers
It is difficult to do a full wrap even with all the template for tapered cups. So I tried to just pieces the images. After baking the tape left yellow marks all over the cup the image did not come out fully. I would strongly recommend not using these cups for sublimation.
They don’t have a straight taper. It makes it difficult to do a full color. But the do sublimate well.
Nice tumbler but very difficult to get any decent image on it. The sides are tapered (which I knew) but they are also concave. Which means you better either have very small images or at very least be able to perform magic with getting good transfers without ghosting.
I have used similar cups, but decided to give these a try. The shrink wrap I use for sublimation stuck to these cups and would not come off. It also peeled some of the paint off. I tried them without the shrink wrap and it was better, but they definitely need the shrink wrap when using an oven method
