I use these for oven mitts as well as well as padding to protect the counter from super hot items. They're a great size, and you can put them side by side for bigger dishes. I put these in the microwave underneath bowls. When I heat up soups and things, sometimes the bowl is too hot to pick up. I'm able to safely run the microwave with the trivet underneath it, and grab the bowl out with out burning my hands.
Sturdy and thick, I'm looking forward to breaking these in. I'm certain they'll get a little more pliable over time. They're currently perfect for holding my cutting board in place, and being a ready home for hot food right out the oven. These work just fine.
These are excellent trivets to have in the kitchen. I bought a few just like these many years ago, and they have been used countless times, and they are still perfect. They can be washed, they are sturdy, and they protect your countertops or tables from hot pots or pans.The really nice things about these ATREFUU Silicone Trivet Mats are that they are the common waffle-textured silicone mats, but they are thicker and sturdier than my old ones. These are a very good value.
I love these silicone trivets. They are the best thing I have used for putting hot pots and pans on. They are light weight and very heat resistant. I can even use them to grip a hot pan or plate. I also like the fact that they are very durable and easy to clean. In the past I have either had ceramic trivets, which can break, or cloth trivets that get dirty and conduct heat if they get wet. I will only buy silicone trivets from now on.

Although we have plenty of high tech oven mitts and gloves, these simple silicone hot pads are my favorites. They're simply easier to grab. Then, I can set my hot dishes on them without the bulk of mitts or gloves. They are my favorite kitchen solution.
I love these silicone heat pads when I have hot pans or dishes I use one to protect my counter tops. You can also use the to take hot items out of the oven as they are flexible. When they are dirty you just place them in the dish washer.
