Real glass and made thick
I guess I misread and got these. I thought they were plastic mostly due to how cheap everything is now and didn't think it be glass. The ''Reason'' I didn't want glass is due to it always being thin and easily broken.These aren't that. They are thick glass and made very well to the point they do seem vintage. The lid is plastic and the metal straws are my preference for reusables. 10/10 star I am happy I didn't know they were real glass otherwise I may have hesitated.

BEAUTIFUL RIBBED GLASSES; EASY TO HOLD AND DRINK FROM; NOT A FAN OF THE LID
I ordered these glasses for lattes and smoothies. This is a set of two glasses, two plastic lids and two stainless steel curved straws. The glasses are lovely, crystal clear, with an appealing ribbed glass exterior and a smooth interior. The glass is sturdy and thicker than I expected. Mine do not have any bubbles, discolorations or other defects. They fit my hand perfectly; they are easy to hold, grasp and drink from. The bottoms are solid and these glasses are not tippy.These tumblers are a good size; I measured them at about 6 1/2” tall without the lid, the top diameter is 3 1/2” and the bottom diameter is 2 1/2”. I measured the capacity at about 18 liquid ounces to the brim. The exterior of the glasses do get somewhat slippery if hand washing.The plastic lids, however, are fussy. I found it difficult to push them all the way onto the glasses because the silicone gasket kept sliding up and getting in the way. And they also aren’t easy to remove when you do get them on. Once the lids are on, they do help prevent spills but they are not leakproof. And, aesthetically, the glasses are so pretty and the lids are, well, plastic. As to the curved metal straws, they are great for smoothies. In using the straws, they do get warm with warm beverages and cold with cold beverages, as one would expect.I very much like these glasses, and the size is great, but the plastic lids are finicky. 4 stars.CARE INSTRUCTIONS: No care instructions included with packaging. The website states they are dishwasher friendly. I am not sure these are microwave safe.Thanks for reading :)
