Eeeeeevery single baker needs this! Even if you do it just for fun it's a must have.. I had a client gift me a few and I loved it so much I bought these... I've been baking for decades with no problem but for some reason when you use these it's as if you started from day one lol... It will save you so much money on the parchment paper that you would use on the sides of your pans..How I use it- First I soak the stripes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to an hour.. Basically while I'm prepping my supplies and still while i mixing... Then after I pour the batter in, NOT BEFORE, I wrap the pans.. So far the straps are still on so it allows me to tick the access strap into itself.. If that makes sense... Then I bake my cakes.. Luckily none of straps haven't broken off, but if they ever do i would maybe try a safety pin to hold it down.. Maybe not a hair pin because the plastic would burn.. IDK that's just a guess cause I haven't tried that part.. Your cakes will come out even and full and level with no need to trim... Just smooth like butter! The length is really long and can fit different sizes of pans... This is a 9x14 cake pan and I used two strips...Anyway these are great.. get several!

Cakes bake levelly with no mound in center.
I got a pack of four so that I would have enough for a 3- or 4-layer cake if I wanted. Use as directed, soaking the strips for 30 minutes before using. Wrapping the sides of the pan prevents heat from penetrating the side of the pan and baking the sides more quickly than the center. This way heat enters from the top and bottom and all the batter cooks evenly. One strip is wonky and won't tighten up around the pan. You have to hold it in place as you put it in the oven. That's the reason for the lesser star rating. I also wanted to be able to string them together to use on a larger circumference baking pan.
