BEST Metallic Foil Fringe offering!!!
For an upcoming Mardi Gras party, I ordered 3 sets of these foil fringe tinsel table skirts from 3 different vendors. Two sets were 2-paks and this one a 4 pack. Sounds like a lot of coverage for just one party, but I like to cover my serving & buffet tables so that guests can’t see the extra inventory I have stashed underneath (extra water, glasses, snack & beverage refills). To my surprise, each offering was not as thick/dense as shown in the respective product photos. A single mounting of each skirt still gave full view of what was under the table. But for the price, this 4 pack ~ although the foil strands were ⅓ skinnier ~ was the best! ($12.99 at time of review or $3.25 each).Even after a tablecloth was set underneath, the single layer still looked sparse. So, I doubled over the foil fringe… unfortunately, the pattern for the Mardi Gras color trio didn’t match when simply folded in half and looked like a jungle mess. I had to either use 2 skirts to align the colors and get the fullness or ruche one skirt. Bottom line: these skirts are not as full as shown in the product pictures. If you’re looking for bright foil decoration for a float, table or archway, these will work just fine (caution: the foil strands rip off very easily); but to assume they could hide what’s underneath with one single layer = NOPE. For the price, with the same quality as the others, this package is the way to go!
