Shiny and work well!

I really needed some new potholders. The ones I had were very worn out and stained, and my husband constantly complained about needing new ones. I ordered these because the fact that one side of them was metallic looked interesting.Once I got these, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I was slightly skeptical because they felt really thin compared to my usual ones, but when I put them to the test, they provided plenty of insulation while I was using them to pull cookie sheets out of the oven I haven’t washed and dried them a lot yet so I’m not sure how the metallic part will hold up over time. However, with four of these included they are a great value. Would definitely order again.

Somewhat thin, yet effective for handling hot items

These pot holders are an ample size, measuring almost 8 inches per side. The dark gray color matches the images in the listing. The sewing is done well, and I didn't detect any loose threads or other faults. The pot holders are only about half as thick as my previous pot holders, so I was initially skeptical whether they would work as well. They actually performed better than I expected. I only felt a slight indication of warmth when I pulled my baked Chicken Caprese from a 425 degree F oven after nearly 30 minutes. The relative thinness of the pot holders allows me to grip a pan much more securely than with a thicker pot holder. I haven't laundered the pot holders yet, so I cannot comment on their long-term durability. I am very satisfied with their performance so far, nonetheless.

Very thin but it’ll work

These are very thin comparatively. So far I haven’t burned myself but I’d be afraid to grab a cast iron pan handle with this. Unless you doubled up. They’re very inexpensive so I guess that’s why they lack quality. But fairly priced all things considered. Nice color; true to the photos. The size is standard compared to most pot holders. Nice little loop for hanging.

Thinner than my other pot holders but works just as well

I use pot holders to move hot items from the oven to the top of the stove, or from the microwave to a nearby counter. I rarely need to hold a hot pan for more than about 10 seconds, so my needs for heat protection may be lower than for others. But for my needs, these pot holders work great and protect my hands. I like that they are somewhat thinner than my other pot holders. I keep pot holders in a drawer, and these pot holders allow me to fit more in the drawer. I also like the 8" x 8" size which works better for larger hands.

Great fabric Set of Four Oven Mitts/Trivets

This is a great set of four pot holders or trivets for protection under hot dishes. They are a nice dark grey soft to the touch on the main side and a heat-resistant metallic silver finish on the working side. They do have loops on each so they can easily be hung up next to your stove or ovens-a great way to keep these burn-prevention products handy! I personally prefer these as they easily washed with laundry when contamination occurs and are more easy for me to mold and bend as needed for the various trays, pots, pans, lids or baking vessels I’m relying on them to keep my hands safe. Great to have a set of four if some in wash, or use as trivet on counter and others as oven mitts.

Great heat resistant pot holders!

This set of four gray potholders work very well for taking hot items from the oven or holding onto hot pan handles. They are a nice big size. They are thinner than most of my potholders but I still don’t feel heat when using them with hot dishes so they work well! They seem durable and wash up nicely. I have only washed them once so far because if I get food in them it easily wipes off with a wet dish cloth. I do recommend these potholders.
