Purchased this 4 piece fruit knife set to replace my older knives that couldn't be sharpened anymore. The set /knives are very nice. Extremely sharp, they cut through pineapple, melons meat, etc with no problem. Handle is nicer that most and fit in hand well. They are durable, sturdy, can be washed in dishwasher but hand washing will keep them sharper longer. Time will tell if they'll rust but I dont see a problem with that issue. Great value for price. Reordering more to keep on hand

Good size and shape, on the dull side

These knives are a good shape and size, but only two of mine were even slightly sharpened. Two were so dull I could run them along my finger back and forth and feel nothing. Even the two that were the sharpest blades could not pierce an avocado skin, just bent it. I will say the points are extremely sharp on all of them, so I used the points to pierce tougher fruit/veggie skins, then got the blade in to do the cutting. But that's not how a good paring knife works! I do have a knife sharpening tool so this is a fixable issue for me, but for those people who do not have that option, ordering these seems to be rolling the dice on whether or not you will get a sharp paring knife. And as someone who used to cut fruit working in a produce department, dull knives lead to accidents. I do really like the weight and feel of these knives so I will be quite happy once I sharpen them up. They are very easy to clean as well, the quality is okay (cheap plastic handles and a couple of mine came deviated like they were exposed to high heat and started melting, but it doesn't affect their function). They are priced right for what they are.
