This set is super handy if you like making onigiri or musubi at home! The molds are easy to use, and the rice doesn't stick to them, which makes everything a lot faster. I’ve been using it to pack cute lunches for my kids, and they love it. It’s also great for making perfectly shaped rice balls for parties or meal prep. This set of 4 rice molds is nice. They are a fun way plate your rice. They are made of stainless steel and are very durable. They are a good size and way to use. They are easy to clean and the rice does not stick to them. I am very happy with these molds.
Would have like a little better fit at the edges but it works just fine so I don't really have a quote.
The shapes are cute and it's easy to disassemble for cleaning. Unfortunately as another reviewer described (and I didn't listen...) they had already started to rust when I received them today.
Honestly the price is great for 4 metal molds on this. They are cute and easy to use a great way to get kids in the kitchen with you. They come out fairly clean, easy to wash, and easy to use.
I've been trying to find a good stainless steel rice mold set so I don't have to worry about plastic leeching into my rice. I had a set that didn't look like it was made with quality stainless steel and another set that fell apart at the weld as I was trying to use it; I haven't encountered either of those concerns with this 4-piece onigiri mold set, it seems well made. I do wish the edges of the molds were polished/smoothed a bit more, but that's a minor complaint.My favorite feature of this set is that each piece can be disassembled for cleaning, as shown in the product photo. It was easy for me to disassemble and reassemble each piece.
These are fun! Great price. Easy to use, great size. They’re super cute. Totally recommended.
