Works great at keeping the grease splatter on my stove to a minimum. A tad on the heavy side but easy to clean. Folds up for easy storage between fridge and cabinet. Only con is gas flame got turned up too high and melted the black plastic trim around the bottom.

This splatter shield is well-made and well-packaged. I'm quite pleased with the quality. It fits perfectly around my gas cooktop and does a great job of protecting the rest of my kitchen from grease splatters. As others have mentioned, it's a bit heavy. I would have preferred the light weight of aluminum, to make it easy to pull out of my cabinet. However, aluminum would have fallen down if it were hit by a utensil, and the heavier stainless stays put. It's all about trade-offs.
I ordered this back splash to protect an electrical outlet which is right behind the stove. This is the first stove I have that does not have the extended back control panel. Which is fine, I love the extra room for my large pots, unfortunately the house came with outlet in the wrong place, and I just do not want to spend the money needed to move the outlet. This is a quick fix and I love it. I can cook without worrying about the cords in the back. GREAT SPLASH
This is a rather large grease shield. It is heavy duty consisting of 4 hinged panels 16 x 12 inches. Because the panels are hinged you can arrange it in many shapes to suit your needs based on size of stove. The metal edges are covered with rubber gasket to prevent personal injury when cleaning and otherwise handling. It would be rather large for a two burner or a a small 4 burner stove top. Good value foe money

Very heavy and cumbersome which makes this difficult to clean. I ended up donating this.
