This would be great for a housewarming or wedding present! It has a good weight in your hand. The square is slightly rounded off so it’s not a sharp edge in your hand. I was very impressed with the quality of the set
I was attracted to this set for the simple design and the matte finish. What the pictures don’t show is how much smaller the pieces are than most. I have provided pictures comparing them them to the mixture currently in my kitchen. Specific differences to note:- The forks have a very strong bend in them. The salad fork is particularly small, almost more like an horderve fork.- The larger spoon is described as a dinner spoon, but usually this is called a soup spoon. This is a lovely and unique shape for a soup spoon.- The smaller spoon is called a teaspoon, and that is what is normally used for most food. However, like the salad fork, it is very small. Could be good as a dainty dessert spoon or for tea/coffee. At this moment I am eating yogurt with it, and it is kind of fun. Just very different.Some of the pieces have a few imperfections. When I first opened the package there were some rough edges, especially on the forks. After one trip through the dishwasher, though, the edges seemed to have smoothed out.
The good and the bad.Well you get Alot of flatware. Nice black great looking flatware.Price point would be something I could handle if this was the best forks and spoons ever.They are not.The forks are like weapons you could defend yourself in a fight with one of these they are sharp.The sizes are off, the quality is good they are strong but the mold of them not great.
I really love this silverware set. It is so big and clunky. If you had asked me if I wanted big clunky silverware, I would’ve said no, but I actually love how big and clunky it is. Now here are some negatives, I wish the end was a little bit more fluted, so it wouldn’t fall through my dishwasher basket. Also, there is a big differencein the sizes of the spoons. One is really tiny and the other larger than a regular teaspoon. I love the black Matt color. These are solid! No concern about chipping or bending or anything like that.
I got this 40-piece matte black silverware set because I wanted something different from the usual shiny silver. It's a complete set for eight people. Includes forks, knives, and spoons. The design is modern and simple.The silverware feels solid and well-made. It's forged stainless steel, not flimsy. The matte black finish is really nice. It doesn't show fingerprints. The pieces have a good weight to them. They are also dishwasher safe.I've used them for a few weeks now, and they're holding up great. No scratches or fading. They're comfortable to use. They're also a nice addition to our new home, they fit our style.I'm giving it four stars. The only thing I'd change is maybe adding some serving pieces to the set. But for a basic, everyday silverware set, this is a great choice. It looks much more expensive than it is.
I really like the look of this silverware. I like the matte finish and that the handles are narrow. The silverware is easy to hold and I like that there is no design on them. In the set is 8 pieces each of salad forks, dinner forks, dinner knives, dinner spoons and teaspoons. The silverware is very sturdy and not easily bendable. I am very happy with this purchase.
These looked beautiful in the photos, but in reality, the forks are not evenly made/cut. Some of the tips on the forks are extremely sharp and thin! Some come to a fine point, as if someone was intentionally attempting to make a knife with in the fork... if that makes any sense. I do have photos and will upload them as soon as I can.The metal is extremely light, there is almost no weight to any of the silverware. The spoons are oddly shaped and not symmetrical. The butter knives are also uneven, some are dull and others are extremely sharp. It looks as if there is zero quality control.Did no one look at some of these forks, spoons and knives and think..." a child may use this to eat"???? I threw the whole set in the trash. The last thing I want is for one of my kids to deeply cut their mouth,tongue or anything else on this silverware. I will not take any chances when it comes to my kids. These are NOT worth buying. Over priced and made terribly and feel cheap. I don't recommend!
