Not as advertised - black coating comes off in the wash

Black coating comes off in the wash (for me within 3 washes). I do not trust the seller based on the advertisement or the product based on my experience with this product. If the coating comes off in the wash is it really safe to use? Purchased new flatware to replace it.

Good set just wish I had got the two different size spoons

The things I like are the weight of these silverware, and the hammered look on the handles, I love the dark color of the silverware definitely different than the traditional silver. You get enough for four-place settings. We ran him through the dishwasher a couple times with no issues. I definitely feel really sturdy. So far my only issue is with the spoons We did not get the bigger spoons We got two sets of the smaller spoons. You can see in the pictures you can see the difference between the forks but there is no difference in between the spoons that is my reasoning for taking off one star.
