These baskets are extremely helpful in cold proofing sourdough! They are wonderfully easy to wash and do not have to worry about mold like the regular baskets. They also are great for storing in compact spaces! HIGHLY recommend

These proofing baskets work amazing for my sourdough bread. When I'm done, they smash down and take up very little space
I ordered these silicone bannetons mainly for proofing sourdough bread. I've just started a new journey of artisan bread baking. While I'm patiently working on a viable sourdough starter, I will use my new bannetons for baking bread in general.These silicone bannetons are of good quality. They have thick walls that maintain a needed, relatively rigid forms. They don't feel floppy at all. Yet, they are foldable / collapsible for space-saving storage.I used one of the bannetons to proof a super-sized cinnamon roll and covered it with a silicone lid (bought separately). The non-stick nature of silicone makes greasing or sprinkling flour on the bowl walls unnecessary. The proofed bread was baked in the silicone baneeton and lid as if it was in a dutch oven to keep more moisture in. The bread was well baked, quite soft and gooey. The banneton is also easy to clean.Like some other silicone bakeware that I own, there was some unique smell from the silicone while baking was in progress in the oven. I do not detect any of the smell left in the baked goods though. At first, I was concerned the roll's shape would be top heavy. It turns out if I keep the dough top and bottom of (more or less) in equal diameters (like my super-sized roll), the shape will look balanced. I included a side view of the uncut baked cinnamon roll here.I wish this set would have included two oblong bannetons and two round ones for variety or in some size variations instead of the current set of four of the same size and shape.
Easy storage foldable silicone bowls. Very easy to clean. Doesn’t stick. The size and the quality is good.
Good proofing bowls. Easy to use and clean. I like that you can put them in the dishwasher too. Since they are collapsible, they are pretty compact for storage when not in use which is a big plus.
