Get this if you are looking for consistency and speed of slicing vegetables for salads. Onions are quick and less tears for large quantity. It is safe for minors to use if in a restaurant setting since it is manual. Also, while the blade is concealed during use, be careful when cleaning as there is a very sharp point of the blade that is exposed when removed and can cause a very serious cut.
It's used in a local business at reaturant for slicing vegtables and fruit. Very sharp, easy to clean, very durable. Makes things way faster for our cooks.

Making raw fries and chips has always been a pain until now. Wish I had this years ago. Easy to assemble and clean. Well built. Extremely sharp. Cuts two slices with each turn of the cutter. Very stable on counter or table top.
