Cheap spoons that don't look or function like cheap spoons--recommended

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had just broken my next to last porcelain-handled coffee spoon. It was part of my third set of these in so many years. As much as I loved the pretty flowers on white glazed china, I thought it was time to get something less fragile. Sturdiness:Well, I hope they will be sturdy. I've already dropped one on the floor, and being metal, it didn't break or dent. They seem fairly solid for tiny spoons and I don't see how they wouldn't hold up to everyday use stirring sugar or honey into teas and coffee, and scooping a serving of preserves or jams for toast. Functionality:Definitely functionable. I've been using them everyday since I've had them. I would have liked them to be maybe an inch longer because they are kind of lost in the holder I used to keep my old 6-inch spoons, but that doesn't really effect their use at all. The description in the ads call these "dessert spoons" but I honestly don't see them as something you would actually use to eat with. They would be great, as I mentioned before, to scoop up small amounts of things to put into or onto other things you eat or drink. You could also use them to sprinkle various things onto your dessert if you wantedValue for money:Got them for sale, and they weren't expensive in the first place. Unfortunately, I think the price for this color has dropped even more, and now I'm mad! 😂Look:The main reason I chose these particular spoons were because they were pretty. I needed spoons that weren't so fragile as china, but I wanted cute spoons. I would have loved to have found some that had an interestingly shaped handle or pattern, but going back to "value for money", there is only so much I was willing to pay for something like this. Quality:Really nice for the price. The edges of the spoons are smooth for one. Some cheap spoons and forks can actually have sharp or rough edges around the bowl of the spoons or on the tines of the forks. Not good if you actually want to put these into your mouth....or God, forbid, give them to your children as play things. And I don't recommend that you give these spoons to very young children since they are small enough to present a choking hazard. Washability:Absolutely. The manufacturer claims they are dishwasher proof, but I'll never know. Since I am mostly using them to stir coffee and tea, all that is required is a quick rinse under the tap. If I use them for something sticky, then I can add a touch of dishsoap on a sponge to restore them to their original shine. I don't usually put anything small or skinny in the dishwasher since they easily fall into openings in the washer where I can't get them back out. So basically, a quick rinse or scrub, dry them off with a lint-free cloth or paper towel, and put them back into the holder by the coffee pot. This doesn't take five minutes to do even with washing and drying all the spoons and then walking across the kitchen to put them away.

Very cute, but remember they are a demitasse spoon

I absolutely love these spoons. He can’t really get a gauge on their size from the pictures unless you’re really paying attention to the measurements. They were perfect for what I wanted them for. They are a demitasse spoon and perfect for my coffee at espresso bar the gold color looks very pretty, but I don’t think it would hold up well in the dishwasher so I’m just handwashing to make sure the color doesn’t wear off. I absolutely love these little spoons.
