We needed a smaller milking container as we only have a few goats we milk during the year. This is a perfect size, and the cover has a built in seal. I drilled a hole on each side of the cover for threaded barbed flanges to attach 2 hoses, one for the teat cups, the other for the vacuum. Simple and functional, and the latches work very well.
This has been a quality product for storing my rice. Easy to clean and easy to use when accessing the rice. The capacity is amazing as we big rice in large quantities. Great value for the money.
TL:DR - Why only four stars? Clips have sharp edges, which should have been smoothed.This is a surprisingly solid storage canister, with an excellent, tight seal. It has an nice - but fairly small - handle on top. It might be a bit small for larger hands. I have slender, medium-sized girly hands, so it is comfortable for me. I'm using it to store dry cat food, and the 12L holds about 12 pounds, and functions as expected. I'm glad I chose this larger size as I have 3 cats and need to store a large amount of food.It has a nice shiny, finish, and was light and easy to clean. The clips are very good and are easy to snap open/closed. I looked at many, canisters - and it would appear they all come from the same Chinese manufacturer. So I chose the lowest price, fast shipping, and Amazon as the shipper in the event I needed to return it.Excellent price for the quality. I am very pleased and am happy to recommend this canister.
I bought this container to store deep fryer oil between uses. The stainless steel has some good thickness to it. The lid clamps on securely and seals with a silicone gasket. And handles on the container and the handle on the lid itself all work well and feel secure, even when the container is full. It was a little pricey, but it does exactly when I need it to do.
These are great and fit my bulk flours quite well. It keeps them fresh and ready to use. No more crumpled up bags in the pantry. Very well made. Nice seals and easy to open.
Bought because no matter what we seem to do rodents keep getting in our garage and sometimes house. We have tried peppermint spray, coffee grounds (maybe it is helping? and of course traps) I keep everything in heavy duty plastic bins or glass jars. The are the plastic lid on the glass jars! So replaced with metal, and ate through some bins :( These are expensive but if you are battling rodents it is worth it! This is my use for it, but it would be great for so many other uses. My only complaint would be I no longer buy from company's that are not dold and shipped by Amazon because if I do need to return anything, it is not always easy. I did not notice these were not by Amazon, but it worked out this time!
Bought this to keep the squirrels out of my birdseed. Works perfectly. Closure is solid, quality is incredible given the propensity to make things cheaper. This will last for many generations.
